Finding the 5 Best Apartments in Denver for Your Lifestyle

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Location Accessibility: I evaluated how close each building is to major transit hubs and essential neighborhood spots. Easy access to daily necessities drastically cuts down on commuting stress.

Leasing Flexibility: Finding a place that adapts to your timeline is crucial for a smooth transition. I prioritized buildings offering unique lease structures or satisfaction guarantees.

Amenity Value: High rent should come with functional perks that genuinely improve your daily routine. I checked if the provided workspaces and fitness centers actually justify the monthly costs.

Transparency of Fees: Hidden charges can quickly ruin a housing budget if you are not careful. I looked closely at the extra monthly costs and initial deposits required before move-in.

Moving to the Mile High City means balancing the desire for stunning mountain views with the reality of a competitive housing market.

You want a space that feels like a retreat after a long day of work or hitting the slopes, but it also needs to make financial sense.

If you’re hunting for the best apartment in Denver, you already know the choices can feel overwhelming.

To help you out, I dug into the local real estate scene to figure out which buildings actually deliver on their promises. Let’s look at the top contenders that offer a solid combination of location, reliable amenities, and everyday comfort!

How much does apartment rentals cost in Denver?

Renting a standard apartment unit in Denver typically ranges from $1,500 to $2,900 per month, depending heavily on the neighborhood and number of bedrooms.

Unit Type / AreaEstimated Monthly Cost
Studio and One-Bedroom$1,500 – $1,900
Two-Bedroom$2,500+
Downtown$2,524
West Colfax$2,589

1. Sentral Union Station

sentral-union-station-logo

Website: https://www.sentral.com/denver/union-station
Address: 1777 Wewatta Street
Contact: (855) 729-5682
Hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Choosing a home near the city’s main transit hub usually means sacrificing residential comfort for convenience, but Sentral Union Station completely flips that expectation.

They bridge the gap between traditional apartment living and hotel hospitality by offering highly flexible stay-and-lease options. Here, you can secure everything from a nightly visit to a full, yearly commitment.

You also gain access to beautifully integrated coworking spaces that effectively replace the need for an expensive external office membership. The rooftop pool and sky deck serve as the perfect backdrop for winding down.

I recently visited a colleague who uses their unique homesharing program.

She explained how the building staff helps her manage her Airbnb listings to offset her monthly rent while she travels. It’s fantastic how this particular arrangement provides incredible financial flexibility for young professionals.

Keep in mind that the hybrid hotel-apartment model naturally creates a transient atmosphere with frequent guest turnover. It might feel overwhelming if you prefer a quiet community.

Pros

  • Walkable to Coors Field
  • Managed homesharing program
  • Flexible lease terms
  • Built-in coworking spaces

Cons

  • Premium rental rates
  • High guest turnover

Customer Reviews

I’ve toured Sentral with Lara twice now anticipating my move to Denver early next year. Not only do I love the building, but I love touring with Lara! She’s so personable and nice. She always sends me a recap of what we looked at and when asked about amenities, she’s sent me personal photos she took so I could see the dog run. I love the amenities and location and who can beat an apartment building that has an elevator directly into Whole Foods?! I hope I’m able to move into Sentral when I’m ready to move to Denver!

Beautiful and very clean room (apartment) with awesome city views Joseph at the counter recommended.  I let them know we were there for a big milestone celebration. The “Experience Manager” Jessica soon arrived at our door with a lovely handwritten card and a bottle of champagne. It was a great experience and we plan to return for a longer stay.

2. Gardens at Cherry Creek Apartments – Denver

Website: https://gardensatcherrycreek.com/
Address: 225 S. Harrison St.
Contact: (720) 796-4169
Hours: Monday to Thursday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00 am–6:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am–5:00 pm

Sustainability rarely intersects with luxury in the housing market, yet the Gardens at Cherry Creek Apartments achieves this balance through their rare LEED Gold Certification.

They also stand out by offering a 30-day money-back guarantee. With this, you can break your lease and receive a refund if the community doesn’t completely align with your lifestyle.

Renting here places you steps away from high-end dining and upscale retail spots.

They also have a strong focus on wellness. For instance, there’s a dedicated yoga studio and a rooftop lounge featuring a beautifully landscaped Zen garden that’ll help you get some peace.

Their flexible layouts are another draw. You can have your spacious townhome equipped with premium stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops!

The main downside right now involves the massive Cherry Creek West redevelopment project happening nearby. You’ll need to anticipate dealing with significant construction noise and heavy equipment traffic in the immediate area for the foreseeable future.

Pros

  • LEED Gold Certified
  • 30-day satisfaction guarantee
  • EV charging stations
  • Immediate neighborhood walkability

Cons

  • High monthly fees
  • Ongoing construction noise

Customer Reviews

I have lived in 5 apartments since moving to Colorado and the Gardens at Cherry Creek is by far the best due to the staff and location.

Elyssa and her team have been extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. Any issue I have experienced has been addressed or resolved within 24 hours.

The common areas, gym, and other amenities are always clean and well maintained.

My wife and I moved here on short notice a couple weeks ago. Both Greta and Elyssa made the move in process very easy and we’ve had nothing but good things to say about our new living space.

3. The Fitzgerald

Website: https://livethefitzgerald.com/
Address: 1840 Market Street
Contact: 720-378-7956
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Securing a spot near the Dairy Block places you at the epicenter of the city’s most vibrant dining and retail scene.

The Fitzgerald leans heavily into a distinct 1920s aesthetic. Their gorgeous apartments are a standout, pairing vintage design elements with premium modern finishes like glass backsplashes and keyless entry systems.

The property fully caters to the active Colorado lifestyle by providing a specialized gear workshop specifically designed for maintaining your bikes and scooters.

Moreover, they explicitly encourage residents to host their units on Airbnb for up to 180 nights a year. It’s a legitimate avenue to generate substantial extra income.

Do note, however, that maintaining such an elevated space might prompt you to hire reliable maid services to ensure those luxury fixtures stay pristine.

And since this stunning building sits directly adjacent to active train tracks and a bustling nightlife district, the ambient noise levels run noticeably higher than what you would experience in a secluded suburban neighborhood.

Pros

  • Central LoDo location
  • Dedicated outdoor gear workshop
  • Premium interior finishes
  • Resort-style rooftop pool

Cons

  • Above-average rent prices
  • High urban noise potential

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00 am–6:00 pm; Tuesday, Thursday 11:00 am–7:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am–5:00 pm

Finding a spacious residence close to the Anschutz Medical Campus usually requires compromising on modern interior upgrades. Alas Over Lowry refuses to compromise with stunning apartments equipped with custom European-style cabinetry.

The property also features a spectacular rooftop amenity deck where you can gather around fire pits to take in expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

They even provide a dedicated yoga studio and a pet washing station for added daily convenience.

When I helped my cousin coordinate professional movers to relocate into this building last year, we were completely blown away by their dedicated maintenance lounge built specifically for tuning up skis and snowboards.

You do need to prepare your budget for some mandatory recurring charges. The required technology package and amenity fees will add roughly $130 to your base rent each month.

On the bright side, their 30-day money-back guarantee gives you complete peace of mind.

Pros

  • 30-day refund policy
  • Custom European-style cabinetry
  • Specialized gear maintenance lounge
  • Dedicated pet washing station

Cons

  • High mandatory monthly fees
  • Reported move-in cleanliness issues

Customer Reviews

This truly has been the best experience I’ve had for a Move-In. Aaron was very knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire tour and post-tour. Maintenance is super fast as well. Not to mention, I had an issue for a repair over the weekend (while maintenance wasn’t in), the property manager Anna, came to the unit to fix the issue temporarily. Really just a top-notch staff & beautiful community!

truly a 5 star experience here. coming up on 2 years living in the community and not only tangibles like location, walkability, and actual amenities/unit, but the leasing office and staff are always so kind and pleasant. i’m always trying to pitch alas over lowry to friends/colleagues interested in moving to the area. sincerely the most positive experience so far. you truly see the work ethic of the staff and i can’t express enough how appreciative we are to belong to this community.

5. The Pullman Luxury Apartments

Website: https://livethepullman.com/
Address: 1959 Wewatta Street
Contact: (855) 734-5467
Hours: Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The shift toward remote work has fundamentally changed what high-earning professionals demand from their residential communities.

The Pullman Luxury Apartments provides unparalleled infrastructure for a hybrid schedule.

For starters, they offer reservable personal office spaces and a professional boardroom located directly on the property. These stunning units come standard with motorized shades and high-end gas cooktops, which are a rare find among local high-rises.

There’s even a dedicated pet spa and a magnificent year-round rooftop pool.

Residents also benefit from an acclaimed on-site restaurant named Onefold, allowing you to enjoy gourmet meals without ever stepping out into the cold.

Overall, everyday living is elevated here, but that comes at a premium. You’ll face steep additional monthly costs for basic necessities like parking your car, alongside hefty pet deposits and recurring pet rent charges if you bring a furry friend.

Pros

  • Immediate light rail access
  • Premium gas cooktops
  • Advanced remote work infrastructure
  • Year-round rooftop pool

Cons

  • Expensive monthly parking
  • Significant ambient street noise

First time encountering Pullman and staff, dropping off some food. Chris at the front was welcoming, friendly and engaging.
