MAKfam is a highly efficient restaurant with a fast-casual concept and an unapologetic focus on multicultural fusion. The kitchen merges American-Chinese comfort flavors, leaning heavily into modern techniques and transparent ingredient sourcing. 

You order at the counter, but the staff handles table delivery and cleanup. Stepping inside, you’ll feel the late-night energy fueled by a trendy hip-hop soundtrack that gives this neighborhood spot a distinct, youthful edge. 

I swung by recently to devour their famous hand-shaped potstickers, and the waitlist system conveniently allowed me to grab a drink at a nearby bar until my table was ready. 

That said, seating large groups can be difficult, and the loud music might not suit a quiet family dinner.

Highly recommend The milk tea and the fancy dumplings! The coconut cream cold brew, wings & chicken curry were good too. Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Looking forward to come back and try more things!

Picked this restaurant for my last night in Denver and was a great choice. A good fusion of American and cantonese food. The Chucken curry and Mala curry were great and 90s vibes inside help round out the experience. The owner has an amazing personality and would go back again in future trips

On the downside, the downtown setting means diners will have to hunt for metered parking or pay for private lots. Furthermore, their strict holiday closure policy means you will have to look elsewhere if you want a feast on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

All of our food was great tasting. The Thai hot spicy level could’ve been much hotter. I got the spice dish and consumed most of it. I also wish the prik nam pla sauce had fresh peppers and not the flakes. Gyozas were so good too! We can’t wait to come back!!

Really loved the food here! We ordered Corn Fritters, Aloy Noodles and Pumpkin Curry. For drinks, House made Tonic and Thai Ice Tea. Everything tasted very good. The prices were also quite fair. The service was prompt and friendly.

I would recommend the House Made Tonic for anyone wanting something refreshing!

Situated in the heart of Lower Downtown (LoDo), the flagship space radiates a sophisticated energy suited for important business lunches or upscale date nights. 

I spoke with a colleague who recently celebrated an anniversary here, and she could not stop raving about the undeniable technical skill displayed in every single course. 

However, because the kitchen leans heavily into European fusion, purists seeking a strictly traditional meal might feel slightly out of place. Diners should also prepare for a fine-dining price tag.

Incredible food!! Drinks were delicious as well. Loved the bartender, Justin! Attentive and came with great recommendations. Also, the tamarind mule was refreshing and paired well with the food. The calamari is the best I’ve had, as well as the beef skewers. The peach leches dessert was refreshing and light, a great way to end the meal after sampling several small plates. Service was outstanding!

Had an absolutely wonderful happy hour experience here. My fiancé and I enjoyed the flights and bites. We chose well and enjoyed everything so much. Anthony took excellent care of us. We will definitely be coming back and we were happy for him to notify us of the new ish location near Sloan‘s Lake. I highly recommend the Szechuan chicken wontons and don’t skip the candied Ginger mustard it’s good on basically everything!

Unfortunately, the acoustics amplify the music to a level that makes quiet conversation nearly impossible. Additionally, the immense popularity of the restaurant requires booking reservations weeks in advance to secure a table.

Loved it all! So welcoming! Fantastic service by people who care about your experience. The food has wonderful delicious and unique flavors. So fresh and beautifully presented. My daughter has been many times and brought me on my visit to Denver. Absolutely put it on your list!

What a fantastic experience! We were a party of six with a child in a wagon that was gtube dependent. We were seated at a great table not off in a dark corner which is what usually happens when they see a child that could be loud (he wasn’t). We got a wide variety of items to try and share. Each dish that came was even better than the last. My taste buds were over whelmed. High recommend!

The broad Pan-Chinese menu spans everything from Sichuan wontons to Cantonese dim sum, ensuring plenty of variety for the entire table. 

We also appreciate the swift service and accessible pricing suitable for regular weekday visits. 

However, the lean staffing model relies on self-service water stations, leaving the dining room feeling more like a quick cafe than a full-service restaurant. Diners have also noted occasional inconsistencies with the thickness of the handmade dumpling wrappers.

Authentic delicious Hong Kong flavor! My favorites were the Mini Wonton Soup and the shrimp dumplings (some look like flowers!😍). The service was quick and friendly. Modern vibe with outdoor seating. My family really enjoyed eating here. I made my dipping sauce starting with 1/2 soy sauce, 1/2 vinegar & a dab of chili with oil. Then, adjusted as needed to my taste(a bit more soy sauce). We definitely recommend this place!

I went to Dumpling Kitchen with a group of friends and it was an incredible last minute choice. All the the food we got was delicious and served so quickly. The cucumber salad was so good that after we finished our first order we ordered another whole serving.

If you’re looking for good dumplings and other side dishes I can’t recommend this place strongly enough.
