Dealing with persistent moisture under your home is stressful, but working with a company that has nearly 50 years of industry experience instantly inspires confidence.

Thrasher Foundation Repair really stands out for its use of over 30 patented basement repair products. They provide advanced drainage solutions that many competitors simply don’t offer.

I witnessed this firsthand when my neighbor needed urgent moisture control before finishing their downstairs living space. The team quickly installed a comprehensive sump system with impressive efficiency.

I also really appreciate that they prioritize minimizing disruption. They often complete these complex structural jobs in a single day while taking care to protect the property.

That said, communication can sometimes be a challenge. Delays in follow-through and occasional missed appointments made coordinating larger waterproofing projects a bit frustrating.

Overall, though, their expertise and speed make them a strong choice for serious moisture issues.

Pros

  • Over 50 years of foundation repair experience
  • Access to 30+ patented waterproofing products
  • A+ Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating
  • Fast, often single-day project completion

Cons

  • issues with project follow-through

  • Occasional missed appointments and communication delays

Help us with a basement water issue

Mark Gebauer was tremendously helpful and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to help us with a basement water issue that ended up being from a neighbor’s broken pipe and wasn’t something we needed to remediate afterall. So when we were ready to get our concrete lifted, we knew he’d take great care of us again. Ahmad and crew did a wonderful job lifting our driveway, garage floor, and patio on day 1, then sealing it on day 2. We are totally happy with their work and really appreciate them! Thank you!!!

Hours: Fri 7:00am – 11:00pm, Sat 8:00am – 11:00pm, Sun 10:00am – 11:00pm

Protecting your property’s structural health requires a partner you can trust, and Groundworks delivers with national leadership in water management.

They operate as a vertically integrated company. They manufacture their own proprietary systems to maintain strict quality control across all their customized, long-term waterproofing solutions.

Their certified, highly trained technicians handle everything from interior drainage to crawl space encapsulation with a level of professionalism that’s hard to beat

I really appreciate that they offer no-obligation free inspections. This helps homeowners understand their home’s water intrusion issues without spending anything.

On the downside, the initial consultation process can feel overwhelming for a typical homeowner. Past customers I spoke with said sales presentations occasionally lean toward high-pressure tactics,

Some also shared that the team often promotes expansive systems when a simpler solution would suffice.

Pros

  • Manufactures proprietary waterproofing systems
  • Offers free, no-obligation home inspections
  • Responsive warranty and follow-up support
  • Highly trained and professional local crews

Cons

  • Sales presentations can feel high-pressure
  • May push expensive systems unnecessarily

Quick and professional and very courteous

I had complete basement systems come clean out and waterproof my crawl space. They were great to work with! No pressure to buy which I really liked! They worked around my schedule and did a fantastic job. They were quick and professional and very courteous. I’m so excited to use my crawl space for storage now instead of avoid it like the plague! They gave me so much extra room. They were pricey, but totally worth the money! Definitely recommend them if you have a gross dirty crawl space like I did.

Address: 6398 Franklin St

Contact: 720-784-5779

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, Saturday, 8 AM–12 PM

Finding a contractor who truly understands local soil conditions can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, which makes working with a dedicated local team like HomeStrong especially refreshing.

As a family-owned and operated structural contracting company based in Colorado, they have a distinct local advantage over large corporate competitors.

I recently spoke with a property owner who had hired them and was impressed by how smoothly the crew managed both complex water diversion and the necessary concrete work.

Because HomeStrong maintains a full-service in-house concrete division, they don’t need to rely on subcontractors for critical foundation work. This is a reassuring level of control and reliability.

On the flip side, their broad range of services can sometimes be a drawback. Handling everything from new construction to egress windows means their schedule and focus are thinner than a contractor who specializes solely in basement waterproofing.

Pros

  • Family-owned and locally operated in Colorado
  • Combined 43+ years of structural and concrete expertise
  • In-house concrete division avoids subcontractors
  • Partnerships with industry-recognized manufacturers

Cons

  • Broad service range dilutes niche waterproofing focus
  • Juggling new construction alongside repairs impacts availability

very friendly and knowledgeable

We called HomeStrong to give us a quote to waterproof our basement that was leaking. Josh came out for the inspection and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great experience, and I would highly recommend using HomeStrong.

Liftech Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair offers an impressive range of services. They handle foundation and moisture issues thoroughly, offering services such as advanced waterproofing and new concrete installation in one place.

What sets them apart is their focus on the unique soil challenges of the Front Range. They clearly understand how Colorado’s shifting, clay-rich soils can impact homes, and they tailor solutions accordingly.

I especially appreciated their use of modern tech, like lightweight polyurethane foams. This makes the work fast and minimally disruptive while keeping your home sealed against leaks.

The only drawback I noticed is that the timeline between the concrete leveling and final waterproofing can feel a little disjointed. You may need to follow up to keep things on track.

Pros

  • Deep expertise in Colorado’s shifting soil conditions
  • Uses advanced polyurethane foam technology
  • Employs certified, in-house technicians
  • Offers flexible financing with zero percent options

Cons

  • Disjointed scheduling between different project phases
  • Requires homeowners to actively follow up on timelines

really appreciated the honesty and time he took to find the problem

I had what I thought was a foundation problem that was letting water in my finished basement. I called Liftech and they sent Eric S. over to evaluate and give me an estimate. He inspected the leak with me and showed me it was a hidden plumbing concern in my walls the ran onto the floor. He suggested to call a plumber for the repair. I really appreciated the honesty and time he took to find the problem. I hope I never have a foundation issue, but if I do I will call Liftech and ask for Eric. Thanks Eric!

Putting your home’s structural integrity in someone else’s hands is a big deal. That’s why working with a veteran-owned, locally operated company like Titan Foundation Repair feels more reassuring.

They’re especially good at handling serious moisture problems. Their crawlspace encapsulation and targeted structural fixes really keep basements dry.

It’s also impressive how knowledgeable they are with advanced techniques like epoxy injections and carbon fiber strapping.

One thing I also appreciate about them is that they offer free consultations. This makes it easier for homeowners to find solutions that can work with them, without having to pay immediately.

That said, they are very focused on foundation and water management. So if you’re looking for services like exterior grading or general concrete work, you’ll need to go elsewhere.

Pros

  • Veteran-owned and locally operated in Denver
  • Offers honest, free project consultations
  • Specializes in crawlspace encapsulation and moisture control
  • Uses advanced epoxy injection and carbon fiber techniques

Cons

  • Lacks broader exterior or general remodeling services

Were honest about what we needed

We asked Titan to come out and give us an estimate for some foundation and water intrusion issues we were having. They could have taken our money and instead were honest about what we needed. They told us to save our money and instead go with a mason to fix our problem. We really appreciated it will definitely consider them first for any future foundation issues we have!
