The Ultimate Guide to the Best Brunches in Denver

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Menu Creativity: I looked for kitchens that push culinary boundaries while respecting classic morning staples. A stellar menu must balance familiar comforts with surprising, mouth-watering innovations.

Atmosphere and Vibe: The dining environment heavily influences how much you enjoy that first cup of coffee. I prioritized spots that offer a welcoming, energetic space ideal for both intimate dates and loud group gatherings.

Beverage Selection: A fantastic mid-morning meal requires equally impressive drinks to wash everything down. I evaluated the variety and quality of craft cocktails, fresh juices, and locally roasted espresso available.

Value for Money: Nobody wants to pay premium prices for a lackluster plate of scrambled eggs. I weighed the portion sizes and ingredient quality against the final bill to ensure your wallet stays happy.

While exploring the culinary scene, from cozy Japanese restaurants to finding the perfect wedding caterer, I realized mid-morning dining holds a special place in my heart.

It’s the kind of meal that fits any weekend mood, whether it is easing into the morning after a long night or gathering with family for a slow, sunny feast.

Still, finding the absolute best brunch in Denver can feel like an extreme sport, complete with syrup-sticky menus and endless mimosa debates.

So I spent plenty of mornings tracking down fluffy pancakes, perfectly poached eggs, and everything in between to see which spots truly deliver. The list below highlights where those mornings led me.

How much does brunch cost in Denver?

Corinne Denver operates on a refreshing “Honest Food + Drink” concept. They focus on uncomplicated, simply prepared dishes that highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Nestled right in the heart of downtown, this all-day dining destination effortlessly transitions from early breakfast to lively weekend gatherings.

I visited recently with a few friends, and was not disappointed with the experience. It was easy to see why their avocado toast and craft cocktails are highly praised.

The menu beautifully balances indulgent comfort classics with lighter, health-conscious plates to satisfy everyone at the table

The chic, modern atmosphere in the restaurant is great too. It immediately wrapped us in a vibrant neighborhood feel, setting a perfect mood for our catch-up session.

However, our visit wasn’t entirely flawless. Our waiter completely forgot to enter our main dishes, leaving us waiting for about 30 minutes before realizing the mistake.

Pros

  • Dedicated weekend menu
  • Fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Inviting, chic atmosphere
  • Convenient downtown location
  • Creative craft beverage program

Cons

  • Long wait times for main dishes
  • Occasional misplaced table orders
  • Limited resolution for service errors

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food!

Found Corinne as I was staying for a quick overnight stay in Denver at the AC Hotel downtown. Excellent atmosphere, excellent food! Alex my waitress was top notch. She recommended the Ham & Gruyere omelette with fried onions. I added a side of their famous chicken sausage. Delicious! Highly recommend this place for brunch! Thanks Alex for being a great waitress!

Contact: (720) 677-7595

Hours:

  • Mon-Thu: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Fri: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm Sat: 10:00 am – 11:00 pm
  • Sun: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Stepping into The Hampton Social immediately transports you into a coastal-inspired “escape.” It offers a breezy, vacation-like dining concept right in the city.

They heavily promote a highly experiential, seafood-forward menu. This is paired with a signature rosé-driven beverage program that practically begs for a toast.

The bright, beachy decor and sprawling rooftop views create an incredibly photogenic backdrop for any weekend celebration.

Diners can dig into rich lobster rolls and fresh oysters while upbeat live music keeps the energetic vibe pulsing through the room. It functions brilliantly as a lively see-and-be-seen hub for groups celebrating with craft cocktails in hand.

Unfortunately, the restaurant sometimes struggles to communicate menu restrictions clearly. This has left some guests surprised when specific dishes are suddenly unavailable.

You might also encounter painfully slow service during peak times. It can sometimes take up to 45 minutes just to place your initial drink order.

Pros

  • Coastal getaway atmosphere
  • Seafood-centric morning options
  • Strong rosé and cocktail menu
  • Photogenic rooftop seating
  • Upbeat live music environment

Cons

  • Unclear menu availability
  • Long waits to place orders
  • Poor communication on restrictions

Will be back!

Great brunch with my mom at Hampton Social. Packed on a Sunday and we had an absolutely lovely server. Ordered a carafe of guava mimosas, the crab and shrimp bruschetta to start, and the fish sandwich + the Gastby Breakfast. Will be back!

Address: 2257 W 32nd Ave, Denver, CO 80211

Contact: 303-862-6795

Hours: Mon-Sun: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Fox And The Hen is a dedicated all-day breakfast destination, serving up chef-driven, creative twists on classic American comfort food every single day.

Helmed by a renowned Top Chef alum, this trendy spot infuses every plate that leaves the kitchen with a fun, playful personality.

A friend of mine who lives nearby convinced me to brave the weekend crowds, and their inventive hash browns made the drive so worth it.

The lively, community-focused energy inside the dining room also makes it incredibly easy to knock back a few of their signature mimosa flights.

Situated in the vibrant LoHi (Lower Highlands) neighborhood, it clearly thrives as a highly social gathering place.

Securing a table, though, can test your patience. The intense popularity regularly leads to massive waitlists.

A few diners have also noted occasional inconsistencies in food preparation. My friend actually commented that the huevos rancheros we ordered were a bit blander than usual.

Pros

  • Daily all-day availability
  • Creative, chef-crafted menu
  • Signature mimosa flights
  • Upbeat, community vibe
  • Prime neighborhood location

Cons

  • Massive weekend waitlists

The food and drinks came out really fast

Delicious food and awesome atmosphere. The food and drinks came out really fast and were very tasty. Decent choice of drinks and brunch options. Overall the service was great as well! I’d recommend coming but can be very busy so a reservation is recommended

The brunch cocktails looked delicious

Charming, cute and bustling. This place got really packed. Do yourself a favor and join the waitlist an hour before you want to dine. Go to their website and join as they do not take reservations. We’re glad we did as the wait was over an hour for others while it was only 20 minutes for us. We had the Foxy burrito, B.Y.O omelette, and Animal Hash browns. The brunch cocktails looked delicious, but we had a couple of americanos that were really good.

4. Café Miriam – Uptown

Address: 1707 Lafayette St Denver, CO 80218

Contact: (720) 278-6548

Hours: Wed-Sun: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm

Café Miriam stands out by offering a distinct French-Moroccan morning menu, beautifully blending European pastry culture with warm North African hospitality.

The focus stays firmly on made-from-scratch crepes, fresh sandwiches, and well-executed espresso drinks. This keeps the experience centered on simple but thoughtful breakfast fare.

I found the space to feel more like a quiet refuge than a typical busy café. It works especially well for a relaxed meal, whether before a day of exploring nearby museums or just as a slower start to the morning.

The menu is also notably inclusive, with gluten-free and vegan options that still maintain strong flavor rather than feeling like afterthoughts. That balance makes it easier for mixed groups to find something they genuinely enjoy.

What I didn’t enjoy, though, was the parking. Street parking nearby can become quite a headache during peak hours.

Additionally, the snug dining area quickly fills to capacity, often leaving latecomers waiting on the sidewalk for an open table.

Pros

  • Unique cultural flavor profile
  • Artisan made-from-scratch food
  • Relaxed, cozy environment
  • Dietary inclusive menu
  • Convenient tourist proximity

Cons

  • Difficult street parking
  • Snug, easily crowded seating

Sure, anything here would taste amazing.

I went here with a few family members for brunch, and never before in my life has food brought tears to my eyes from how good it was. I personally reccomend the Pommes Crepe, but I’m sure anything here would taste amazing. This cafe also has an amazing atmosphere in my opinion. We will absolutely be coming here again!! 😀

The art on the walls was unique and very cute.

Service was absolutely incredible, very welcoming and helpful!!!  The location is quiet and ideal for a calm coffee and brunch.  The art on the walls was unique and very cute.  We tried sweet and savory crepes, and the Mediterranean sandwich, and it was all phenomenal.  Except for the potatoes.  The staff really talked up the potatoes, but I thought they were just okay. 😁

5. Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Address: 2262 Larimer St Denver, CO 80205

Hours: Mon-Fri: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm | Sat-Sun: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery leans heavily on its “Breakfast, but different” idea by reworking familiar morning dishes into more playful, creative versions.

The menu is large and flexible, making it easy to find something that suits different diets and preferences without much compromise.

I found the atmosphere to be bright and high-energy, closer to a daytime social spot than a quiet breakfast café.

The pancake flights were particularly good, especially when shared. The upgraded eggs Benedict variations were another well-loved dish on our table.

The full bar also adds to the mood, with drinks like Bloody Marys making it feel more like a weekend gathering than a standard breakfast.

But to be completely honest, the pricing is quite high. While the meal is good, I do agree with some patrons who feel the price doesn’t match the actual value on the plate.

Some diners I spoke with also complained about rude or unprofessional service, putting a noticeable damper on an otherwise cheerful dining experience.

Pros

  • Innovative pancake flights
  • Energetic, party-like vibe
  • Extensive dietary options
  • Full cocktail bar
  • Responsibly sourced ingredients

Cons

  • High price point for value
  • Reports of rude service

Atmosphere met the same quality as the food for sure.

I went here a lot when I lived here 13 years ago, and I was here again while visiting and it still doesn’t disappoint. The pancakes are amazing, so don’t forget to ask about the pancake of the week. The bacon flight was new and very delicious. I got the sweet potato and bacon smash and it was soo good. The blood orange mimosa was also very delicious! Service and atmosphere met the same quality as the food for sure. I would highly recommend this place for brunch soon!

Flavor and beautifully presented

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely phenomenal brunch experience!

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was upbeat and welcoming. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Out of this world. I had the breakfast tacos and a pineapple mimosa—both were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The noise level was lively but still perfect for conversation. Prices were reasonable for the quality, around $20–30 per person. This place nails the balance between trendy and cozy. Can’t wait to come back!
