1. Trade

Contact: (720) 627-5905
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday – Sunday: 1:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Trade specifically caters to the leather and fetish communities and has become the top subculture destination in the city.
The low-light environment here perfectly matches the gritty vibe of its patrons. Stepping into the dimly lit space with its industrial look immediately sets the mood for a unique evening.
I recently visited for one of their high-intensity themed nights, and the dancers’ energy was very infectious. The interactive entertainment is definitely a massive draw for the crowd.
The dedicated staff works hard to keep the environment secure and authentic for their core community. It’s really a great spot for anyone wanting a unique experience.
You won’t find standard pop music here because the focus is always on curated events. And because the atmosphere has such a specific vibe, it can feel a bit intimidating for those looking for a traditional lounge.
Customer Reviews:
Trade bar is definitely not your average bar
Trade bar is definitely not you average bar. Its cater to petish, leather, and alternative gay crowd mostly. You will find sexy dancers with leather outfits and some pups. The best time to visit this place is Sunday from 4pm till 8pm. They have beer bust and the place is very crowded. They do serve some bar food. Im was visiting town and friend recommended me. The bar has a dance floor, bar area and 2 outdoors spaces. So if you’re looking for a good Sunday funday this is your place.

2. Buddies Denver

Address: 504 E Colfax Ave

Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM
Finding a reliable neighborhood spot that feels like a second home is a rare treat. Buddies Denver has been operating successfully since 1988 and is widely regarded as the city’s finest neighborhood gay bar.
The main focus here is on creating a low-ego environment where everyone feels safe to socialize. Rather than using flashing lights and loud bass, the space functions wonderfully as a welcoming watering hole.
You can enjoy an award-winning burger right at the counter while chatting with the regulars. The prime location makes it an easy meeting point before you head to larger nightclubs.
One downside is that the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM, so late-night snackers are out of luck. Plus, the lack of a formal dance floor might disappoint those wanting a high-energy party.
Still, the laid-back charm keeps people coming back year after year.
Customer Reviews:
Not a place you want to miss
I Came here by myself and immediately felt so welcomed. My bartender Ginseng was by far one of the best bartenders I have had in a very long time. Fast, efficient, warm and charming. Not a place you want to miss if you’re in the area.

Great place to hang out and be yourself
Great place to hang out and be yourself. If you’re dining or drinking alone, I don’t imagine that would be for very long. People are very friendly and the staff is great. Typical bar drinks and drafts/ well drinks. Fun atmosphere. Great trivia night. Sports on regularly. Great Sunday fundraiser beer bust for local gay sports leagues.

- Friday: 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Li’l Devils Lounge is the only LGBTQ+ venue in the historic Baker district. It sets itself apart by offering a refreshing alternative to the busy downtown strips.
I spent a recent Sunday afternoon lounging in their shaded outdoor area, and the backyard pub vibe felt wonderfully low-pressure. You can actually hold a conversation here without shouting over a DJ.
When it comes to the drink selection, their signature frozen cocktail program is a major highlight, especially during the warmer months. If you prefer beer over spirits, they also maintain a massive selection of rotating taps.
Keep in mind that weekday operations end by midnight, which might cut the evening short for night owls. Also, there’s no on-site kitchen, so you have to eat elsewhere before you arrive.
Still, the easygoing atmosphere makes it a perfect local getaway for a casual drink.
Customer Reviews:
Great atmosphere!
Great atmosphere! We loved the decorations, trivia, and patio. Stopped here on our way to our hotel from the airport. We were clearly not the usual demographic but still received friendly and excellent service. The drinks were strong and the grilled cheese quesadilla was delicious! We enjoyed watching the place fill up as the night went on. Definitely recommend a stop by if you’re in town, and we will be back!

We love this hidden gem!
We love this hidden gem! The patio is so nice and the drinks are great. Staff are super friendly. Mostly caters to the male LGBT crowd but they’re always super welcoming to me and my girlfriend 🫶🏻 their green chili grilled cheese is surprisingly good, def recommend. Only complaint is sometimes there is a strong air freshener smell inside. Patio is where it’s at!!

Catching the big game requires a lively crowd and plenty of screens. Proudly operating as the only gay sports bar in the area, this venue provides a dedicated space for fans to cheer on their favorite teams.
The interior boasts seventeen televisions and a high-quality sound system designed specifically to capture the stadium energy.
The bartenders are known for mixing strong drinks quickly, which ensures nobody misses a crucial play while waiting in line. And on sunny afternoons, the two separate outdoor patios provide a great retreat during halftime.
We love that the management strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy against bigotry. This creates a genuinely welcoming space free from typical sports pub toxicity.
The major drawback is the strict midnight closing time every day. This forces the post-game celebration to relocate early. The venue also lacks readily accessible printed drink menus at the tables.
Customer Reviews:
Service was fast
Service was fast. Bartender was nice. We sat at the bar, he wasn’t super conversational, but that’s ok, bars don’t seem to be that social anymore. Prices were on par, drinks were well made.
Good sports on the screens.
Not a fan of the white walls – interesting choice from the black before.

5. #VYBE

Website: https://vybedenver.com/
Address: 1027 N Broadway
Contact: (720) 573-8886; [email protected]
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday – Sunday: 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM
A truly memorable night out usually involves interactive fun and a few unique drinks.
This high-energy spot is run by a family that has been in the hospitality business for decades. Because of their tenure in the business, they’re able to offer a warm and welcoming legacy.
#VYBE is famous for its communal shot-ski service, which encourages large groups to start their evening together. Their entertainment is also very varied, including silent discos and live karaoke sessions.
For a fun twist, the bartenders even craft homemade infused pickle shots.
While the kitchen stays open until late, the menu consists mostly of deep-fried pub snacks. This means health-conscious diners might struggle to find a light meal.
On top of that, the doors don’t open until early afternoon on weekdays. This makes the venue unsuitable for anyone looking for a midday lunch gathering with friends.
Customer Reviews:
