5 Best Insulation Experts in Denver to Help You Stay Warm and Save Money

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Energy Efficiency Focus: We examined how each contractor approaches thermal resistance to maximize your utility savings. Our assessment favored companies that customize their materials to the region's specific climate demands.

Material Selection: Access to diverse products enables tailored solutions for unique architectural challenges. We looked for businesses offering everything from traditional fiberglass batts to advanced Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF).

Customer Experience: Clear communication and reliable scheduling are essential for any home improvement project. We prioritized teams that deliver responsive service, thorough cleanup, and transparent pricing structures.

Long-Term Value: A lower upfront price does not always mean better overall value for your property. We considered the longevity of the applied materials, warranty offerings, and the potential for a long-term reduction in heating expenses.

Keeping your home comfortable year-round in Colorado requires a solid thermal barrier. If you notice drafty rooms or uneven temperatures, your property is likely losing energy, which is driving up your bills.

Luckily, finding the best insulation services in Denver can quickly improve your efficiency and comfort. Upgrading your attic or walls is a smart move for both homeowners and property managers who need to meet energy standards.

I’ve evaluated top-rated local contractors to help you choose the right materials and the best partner for your specific structural needs, so read on!

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday – Sunday: By Appointment

Finding a contractor for minor repairs can be surprisingly difficult because many large companies tend to pass on smaller jobs. This is why Denver is such a great resource for residents.

With over 20 years of experience in the metropolitan area, they truly know how to get the job done right. They specifically take on the quick fixes that other outfits turn down.

They also use a specialized spray foam that serves double duty, insulating your home and creating a solid moisture barrier. Busy homeowners will also love how easy it is to get started.

One downside is their limited weekend availability, as Saturday and Sunday jobs are strictly by appointment only. Planning ahead is necessary if you need work completed outside of their standard Monday through Friday operating hours.

Pros

  • Fast inquiry response times
  • Excellent post-job cleanup
  • Comprehensive structural coverage
  • Custom energy efficiency focus

Cons

  • Standard operations limited to weekdays

I’m thoroughly impressed
My entire experience with Denver Insulation LLC was great. From initial conversations with Juan to the final product. His team arrived and did an impeccable job at the insulation, the protection of other parts of the house, and the clean up. I’m thoroughly impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

Wow, what a terrific experience
Wow, what a terrific experience from beginning to end. My Estimator, Juan, was knowledgeable and professional. He educated me on the specific insulations for the different needs of my building. The teams that actually installed the two types of insulation were timely and friendly. They took care of everything promised, and more. I look forward to a much warmer winter.

2. Level Up Insulation LLC

Address: 6850 Broadway Unit E1

Contact: (720) 208-4065 | [email protected]

Schedule: Monday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Upgrading an older home to meet modern energy standards can be challenging, especially given our local climate fluctuations. That’s why Level Up Insulation LLC is so helpful.

For starters, they assess the specific R-value needs for extreme temperature swings rather than just applying a standard thermal blanket.

Since they’re a family-owned operation, the owners stay directly involved in every project to ensure high-quality control. They also specialize in retrofitting older properties to improve air quality and lower utility bills.

Recently, I helped a friend renovate their under-insulated attic, and speaking with their bilingual team made the entire consultation process incredibly smooth.

The only major drawback is the temporary displacement required during the spray foam application, so you’l have to vacate the property while the product cures.

Pros

  • Free on-site energy consultations
  • Diverse material options available
  • Improves overall indoor air quality
  • Significantly reduces utility bills

Cons

  • Spray foam requires temporary displacement
  • Home must be vacated during curing process

John and the crew were awesome to work with
Had Level Up install spray foam insulation in our garage conversion here in Denver. The difference is night and day. What used to be an unusable space in the winter is now a fully functional home office. The spray foam insulation created a perfect seal — no drafts at all. John and the crew were awesome to work with. They protected all the floors and walls and left everything spotless.

The quality is consistent every single time
I’m a property manager and I’ve worked with a lot of insulation companies near me in Denver over the years. Level Up is now my only call. They handle everything from attic blow-ins to crawl space encapsulation, and the quality is consistent every single time. Their crew is respectful of tenants, they communicate schedule updates in real time, and they always clean up after themselves. Best insulation companies near me in Denver for commercial and rental property work, hands down.

Schedule: Monday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tackling large commercial properties or small residential spaces requires a contractor who can handle different structural demands. This is where Mucilli Brothers comes in.

This locally owned business uses high-efficiency spray foam technology to create tight seals and moisture barriers. They even offer comprehensive coverage for every part of a building across many surrounding cities.

One great feature is their no-cost project planning. This helps property managers budget accurately before committing to an installation, and it is very helpful when you are also coordinating an HVAC upgrade.

They also offer versatile materials, such as fiberglass batts and blown-in cellulose, to reach hard-to-reach areas.

A notable downside is their strict requirement for professional removal of existing dirty or damaged materials, which adds an extra remediation step before new products can be installed.

Pros

  • Extensive service area coverage
  • Lowers long-term utility bills
  • Versatile material selection
  • Free estimates and project planning

Cons

  • Requires full removal of damaged materials
  • Remediation adds time to the project

Customer Reviews

Very professional, thorough and clean
We have used Mucilli Brothers twice now and had great experiences both times. George and his crews are very professional, thorough and clean. Our 2nd house has an access to the attic in our master closet and the crew took the time to wrap the opening with plastic in a way that nothing in the closet got dirty.

The Insulation portion was done correct with the cleaning and replacing the aid dams for the soffits, sealing penetrations and damming around electrical boxes for ceiling fans, etc.

I would recommend Mucilli Brothers to everyone.

Super impressed by Mucilli Brothers insulation
Super impressed by Mucilli Brothers insulation. I was referred to them by a coworker who also had a great experience. They gave a quick estimate based just on pictures/floorplan of our house, scheduled us quickly, were responsive and proactive with communication, and did a great job on the actual work. Thank you George and team!!!

5. Denver Spray Foam Insulation

denver-spray-foam-insulation

Website: https://www.insulationsprayfoamdenver.com/

Address: 255 S Cherokee St Apt 2234

Contact: (303) 529-4249

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Getting the best thermal resistance for your home usually requires specialized materials and a lot of precision. That’s why Denver Spray Foam Insulation focuses so much on training their technicians.

With this, they truly understand the specific density needed to handle our challenging local climate. By using both high- and low-density foams, they ensure your insulation stays strong and doesn’t sag over time.

Applying these advanced barriers is a great subsequent step after hiring an air duct cleaning service to fully optimize your indoor air quality.

Besides regular houses, they also work on unique, non-traditional structures like trailers and shipping containers.

Keep in mind that high-density closed-cell systems involve a higher upfront investment compared to traditional batts. This premium approach may initially stretch tighter budgets, despite the long-term energy savings.

Pros

  • Reduces monthly energy costs significantly
  • Superior air sealing capabilities
  • Enhances indoor air quality
  • Long-term structural durability

Cons

  • Higher initial upfront investment
  • Closed-cell foam is a premium expense
