Taking charge of your health shouldn’t be complicated or stressful. Whether you need routine wellness panels, hormone checks, or urgent diagnostic screenings, getting lab work done is a crucial step in preventative care.
I understand that navigating clinics, insurance requirements, and out-of-pocket fees can feel overwhelming for many patients. That’s why finding a reliable, transparent, and convenient facility is so important for your peace of mind.
To make things easier, I evaluated several locations to find the very best blood test services Denver has to offer. This guide will help you choose a clinic that fits your schedule, budget, and specific health needs perfectly.
How much does a blood test cost in Denver?
Getting a blood test in Denver typically costs between $30 and $300, largely depending on the complexity of the panel and whether you use insurance or pay out of pocket.
| Type of Test | Estimated Self-Pay Cost |
| Basic Panels (CBC, CMP) | $30 – $100 |
| Specialized Tests (STD, Hormones, Heavy Metals) | $150 – $300+ |

Any Lab Test Now removes the typical barriers to getting routine wellness panels or specialized screenings done quickly. Their upfront payment model means you know exactly what you owe before walking in the door.
They also offer straightforward pricing without needing a doctor’s order, making this clinic an ideal choice for uninsured patients.
I actually stopped by this facility last month for a routine check-up, and the walk-in process was incredibly smooth. The staff had me in and out of the chair in under fifteen minutes.
They also deliver rapid results, usually sending them to your secure portal within a day or two.
However, you have to plan your visit carefully around the middle of the day. They completely close their doors for a full hour during lunch, which might disrupt your plans if you want to test during your own work break.

This facility is top notch! Getting my blood drawn usually involves an anxiety attack. Not this time. The phlebotomist on staff is an absolute angel. She understood my anxiety and was calm and supportive. The best part, I honestly didn’t feel a thing. I plan on getting all my lab work done here in the future instead of at my doctor’s office. This is 100% a better experience. The office manager was so professional and helpful. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Thank you for the kind treatment.

You can easily schedule early morning or evening appointments to fit screenings around your standard workday.
But note that the facility remains completely closed on Saturdays and Sundays, effectively eliminating access for patients who can’t step away from their weekday jobs.

Took my elderly mom in for bloodwork at the Cherry Creek facility and it was so easy and fast. Didn’t have an appt, they found her order online quickly and the results were done almost immediately. We didn’t have to wait at all. Staff were all wonderful and facility was really clean and comfortable. I also love their pharmacy and get my prescriptions filled there. I wish my UC Health took my insurance, I’d love to use their lab for my bloodwork, it’s so convenient.

Fastest Labs specializes in employer-related testing, offering highly accurate drug, alcohol, and Department of Transportation screenings. They’re the top choice for professionals needing compliance documentation.
Their trained collection specialists prioritize efficiency so you can complete your visit in just ten to fifteen minutes.
If you require swift documentation for a new job or legal requirement, their streamlined operation handles the logistics flawlessly.
They also maintain strict chain of custody protocols for court-admissible results and welcome walk-in patients needing immediate service.
Just keep in mind that this location is primarily optimized for corporate compliance rather than comprehensive general healthcare. It’s not the ideal place to visit if you simply want routine diagnostic blood panels for personal wellness tracking.
4. AFC Urgent Care Denver Cherry Creek

Website: https://www.afcurgentcare.com/denver-cherry-creek/patient-services/lab-testing/
Address: 760 S. Colorado Blvd., Glendale
Contact: (303) 692-8000
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 AM – 8 PM, Sat-Sun 8 AM – 6 PM
AFC Urgent Care stands out by delivering rapid results for basic panels and immediate illnesses while a board-certified provider stands by to prescribe medications.
They combine an on-site laboratory with direct physician evaluations to provide diagnosis and treatment in a single visit.
This all-in-one approach is highly convenient when you have sudden symptoms requiring immediate answers. Many people prefer addressing sudden issues here before seeking out naturopaths in Denver for longer-term holistic care.
This clinic offers fantastic accessibility by remaining open seven days a week with significantly extended evening hours. They also accept most major health insurances and provide reasonable self-pay options for patients without coverage.
Because this is an active urgent care center, your visit might take longer than expected. Patients arriving for routine lab work often experience delays as the medical staff prioritizes incoming emergency cases and acute injuries.

5. Denver Health – Outpatient Medical Center Laboratory

Website: https://www.denverhealth.org/services/pathology
Address: 777 Bannock Street
Contact: 303-436-4949
Hours: Available 24/7
Denver Health offers robust pathology capabilities that smaller independent clinics simply lack the equipment to handle.
They operate in a newly expanded diagnostic laboratory within a major hospital campus, which allows them to process highly complex, specialized tests.
Their phlebotomy lab stays open twelve hours a day, all week long, featuring nine dedicated draw rooms to manage high patient volumes comfortably. The quality of their diagnostic processing is universally respected across the medical community.
And we love that they hold a strong community commitment by assisting uninsured patients through financial counseling and sliding scale payment options. This makes them a highly reliable safety net for residents needing advanced medical panels.
However, getting to the actual lab requires some patience and navigation skills. The facility is situated deep within a massive hospital campus, meaning you have to tackle confusing parking structures and multi-level pavilions just to reach the front desk.

The staff were all very polite, professional and personable. My vaccines were painless. And, when I’d forgotten to say I also needed a lab drawn, the lovely lady that gave my injections was kind enough to set me up for my blood work! And, the ladies in the lab were also fast, efficient and also incredibly pleasant. And I can’t forget the beautiful woman from Madagascar that checked me in, who was also so nice. Even on a Monday! What a great team!

Since the day I started going to Sloans location for primary care, I’ve always had a good experience. I have never had to wait in the waiting room for longer then 5 to 10 minutes. All staff from front desk to being seen in the room by doctor/nurses, to getting blood drawn. No complaints.
Thank you, Gina Aguinaldo
