We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Drink Quality and Freshness: We paid close attention to the base tea's flavor, the chewiness of the boba pearls, and the overall balance of sweetness. A truly excellent cup must taste vibrant rather than artificial or overly syrupy.

Variety and Customization: Everyone has different dietary needs, so we looked for shops that offer dairy-free milks, low-sugar options, and an exciting range of toppings. Having choices like fresh fruit jellies or rich cheese foam elevates the entire sipping adventure.

Ambiance and Service: Sipping a refreshing drink feels so much better in a clean, inviting environment with a genuinely friendly staff. We prioritized venues where you can comfortably hang out, snap a photo, and get your order quickly.

Pricing and Value: Paying ten dollars for a beverage means it needs to justify that cost through excellent portion sizes and premium ingredients. We assessed whether each location provides a fair value for the money spent on every cup.

Craving that perfect, chewy tapioca bite surrounded by a splash of sweet, icy refreshment? You’re definitely not alone. If you want either a classic, creamy milk tea or a vibrant, fruit-forward creation to sip on a sunny afternoon, finding the best bubble tea in Denver is a flavorful mission.

Stepping into this locally-owned, family-operated establishment feels like discovering a secret hideaway for artfully crafted tapioca beverages.

BeauTea Bubbles specializes in completely customizable signature elixirs and artisanal toppings, giving you total control over your flavor journey.

A must-try is the fragrant Royal Jasmine Bliss, a sensory delight, bringing delicate floral notes that mingle perfectly with chewy pearls. Beyond just drinks, they even serve up savory bites like steamed buns to round out your afternoon snack run.

Keep in mind that many of their standard recipes contain dairy and other allergens, so you’ll need to ask questions if you have dietary restrictions.

Overall, it’s wonderfully refreshing to find an independent spot focusing heavily on community and flavor, easily earning its place among the top Asian restaurants in Denver.

Pros

  • Generous loyalty program rewarding frequent visitors
  • Highly customizable sweetness and tea bases
  • Unique floral creations like the Lavender Dream Latte
  • Expanded menu featuring Vietnamese coffee and snacks

Cons

  • Standard recipes heavily feature milk and allergens

Bomb decor and music. I started out with the Hokkaido milk tea. Flavor was perfect. I like that it wasn’t overly sweet, which seems to be common at other places. The bubbles were the ideal texture. Unique self serve concept. You get to pick your bubbles and jellies in whatever portions you want. The owner and his family are friendly and chill. Good vibes all around. I’ll be a regular. – certified bubble tea addict

The owner and the son are super friendly. It’s half self-service place. I got taro milk tea with boba. It was pretty decent. You can choose mix and match different types of jelly and get your own boba for yourself. I had better bubble tea in Cali or nyc but this place is pretty good for Denver.

2. Ku Cha House of Tea

Address: 500 16th Street, #132

Contact: (303) 534-0857

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm; Friday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm; Sunday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

Wandering downtown often leads to parched throats, which is exactly why I stopped by this globally inspired cultural hub during a recent afternoon stroll.

What makes Kua Cha Tea so fascinating is how it balances a massive inventory of premium, ethically sourced whole-leaf teas with high-quality, made-to-order matcha and tapioca beverages.

My experience here has always been fantastic. The knowledgeable staff never fails to guide me through the various flavor profiles before mixing up my drink, completely elevating the usual grab-and-go routine.

I love how iterating with them truly gives me a worldly education while sipping while surrounded by gorgeous, culturally significant teaware.

However, since the venue functions primarily as a broad whole-leaf retailer and educational space, the tapioca drink menu isn’t quite as extensive as what you would find at a dedicated boba shop. Still, the sheer depth of their brew quality is undeniably fantastic.

Pros

  • Over 100 global tea varieties available
  • Ethical and sustainable sourcing practices
  • Staff provides traditional tea education
  • Immersive cultural experience with beautiful teaware

Cons

  • Primarily focused on retail rather than tapioca drinks
  • Shorter tapioca menu compared to dedicated shops

Really cute tea shop. Has a unique and calming atmosphere. There’s a large variety of loose leaf tea they have to offer. There is even a station where you can mix your own batch of tea. The house boba milk tea is super tasty and not disappointing.

This is a great place if you’re looking for more traditional loose leaf tea options! They have a long variety of flavors and some of them have little descriptions to help you choose the best option according to your taste. The milk tea with boba was really good. This tea shop is so cute, definitely worth a visit no matter if you’re a tea connoisseur or just a regular tea enjoyer like me!

Hours: Wednesday – Sunday: 11:30 am – 5:30 pm

Vibrant, family-owned, and full of character, Die Die brings authentic Singaporean flavors straight to the local beverage scene.

Their goal is to break patrons out of their usual habits. They do so through a distinct line of refreshing specials featuring regional fruits like calamansi or soursop.

A bestseller here is the robust, condensed-milk-sweetened traditional Kopi. You can also explore vegan or caffeine-free options.

The menu gets even more inclusive, boasting rare add-ins like mangosteen pudding and coconut pandan leaf flavorings that transport your taste buds.

Planning your visit takes a little effort, though, as their strict five-day schedule means no bubble teas on Mondays and Tuesdays. But if you catch them while they’re open, prepare for a wildly colorful, refreshing flavor ride.

Pros

  • Authentic Singaporean regional fruit combinations
  • Highly inclusive menu with marked vegan options
  • Traditional robusta Kopi available
  • Rare toppings like mangosteen pudding

Cons

  • Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

What a perfect place to grab a refreshing drink. You can choose between milk tea and the fruit teas. We had the Oolong and Jasmine teas. You won’t believe how the real taste of the tea shines through. You can taste the quality. Choosing your own sweetness level is a great touch as most bubble tea shops are way too sweet. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Very cute bubble tea shop! The decor and design is extremely thoughtful with many aspects nodding to their Singaporean background and drinks that really reflect the southeast Asian flavors. The family who owns and runs this place is also super sweet! Highly recommend.

Address: 6365 E Hampden Ave #102

Hours: Daily: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm

When I need a consistently solid drink without any guesswork, this large-scale brand is my reliable fallback. Kung Fu Tea prioritizes standardized quality and uses authentic ingredients sourced directly from Taiwan’s high-altitude mountains.

Through their meticulous approach to quality, they guarantee a robust flavor profile every time. I recently grabbed one of their bold, fruit-forward lemonades, and you can absolutely taste the difference their strict three-hour fresh brewing policy makes.

Safety is also a top priority here, as they enforce rigorous third-party testing to ensure all ingredients are free of heavy metals.

The downside to such a massive franchise model is that the rigid menu structure leaves almost no room for hyper-local, specialized beverage creations.

Regardless, the expansive selection of espresso fusions and classic milk teas will easily satisfy any sudden afternoon craving.

Pros

  • Real tea leaves sourced directly from Taiwan
  • New batches brewed fresh every three hours
  • Rigorous safety testing on all ingredients
  • Expansive menu including espresso fusions

Cons

  • Highly standardized franchise menu
  • Lacks hyper-local or specialized creations

I’m a big bubble tea fan and finally went by one of their locations. Had the rose hip tea with boba, and I enjoyed it! A bit sweeter than I usually get but I love rose flavored drinks.

Their Coffee Bubble Milk Tea is really good, as well as many other tea’s they serve! The only change I would suggest is maybe getting a larger place ~ it’s always so extremely busy and crowded, I bump into at least seven people or more while I’m there. Other than that, highly recommend!! Super fast service for how many people are there and reasonable prices! Just physic yourself up for the crowd. 😉

5. Tao Boba. A Modern Coffee + Boba Tea Bar

Website: https://www.thetaoboba.com

Address: 1920 17th Street, Ste 100

Contact: (303) 893-2622

Hours: Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm; Friday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Tao Boba successfully integrates trendy espresso preparations into their menu, highlighted by their visually stunning whipped coffee layered over sweetened milk and chewy, house-made pearls.

For anyone who appreciates the vibe of great coffee in Denver, this spot flawlessly merges that cozy cafe atmosphere with premium Asian-inspired drink elements.

The topping choices here are exceptionally sophisticated. With the range of options, you can crown your hand-whisked ceremonial matcha with salty cheese foam or salted buttercream.

Indulging in these upper-tier treats does come at a premium, though. For instance, several signature frappes soar past $8 before you even start adding custom jellies.

Nonetheless, the sheer quality and daily-prepared brown sugar pearls justify the occasional luxurious splurge.

Pros

  • Creative fusion of modern coffee and boba
  • Brown sugar pearls are prepared fresh daily
  • Sophisticated toppings like salted buttercream
  • High-quality tea bases including Japanese oolong

Cons

  • Premium specialty drinks easily exceed $8
  • Custom add-ons significantly increase the final cost

This is a fantastic spot for bubble tea lovers. Their menu features high-quality, customizable drinks, and I had the passion fruit green tea, which was a standout with its refreshing and flavorful taste. The friendly staff and quick service add to the overall excellent experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious bubble tea in Den

This place is very cute and clean. Lots of space for people inside and the bubble tea is some of the best fruit tea I’ve had.

However, the price for the size of the drink you get seems a bit too high, but the quality of the tea is just too good for me to give below 5 stars.
