Magna Kainan in RiNo is doing Filipino comfort food right—refined, wood-fired, and full of flavor.
The highlights for me were the Manok skewers with soy cola BBQ, the Lumpia Shanghai with pineapple sweet chili, and the perfectly crispy Lechon Liempo. Each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented.
This is easily one of the best new spots in Denver for anyone who loves Filipino food!

This place is a bright light in Denver’s food scene. It’s fun, tasty, vibey, and all around a great experience. We worked our way through the menu starting with Baboy & Tokwa skewers. Lumpia, Pancit & adobo fried rice. Ginataan & adobo chicken. There wasn’t a part of the meal we didn’t like. Next time I’m going to try the chef tasting menu as everything we had was amazing and the menu as a whole looks great. Check it out, it’s well worth it.

I absolutely LOVED everything I tried at Adobo. I told my mom I was trying a Filipino restaurant and would report back to her. The owner was so sweet and personable. He brought a sample of the adobo sauce for the table as well! The garlic fried rice is a must, as well and the lechon and chicken adobo birria taco. Excited to bring her back to try!

All of us loved the food! Everything is creative, flavorful, and not overly salty. I love the fusion of new mexico and the Phillipines. I am vegetarian, my friend is a celiac, and there were tons of choices. Even as a vegetarian, I has a bite of the adobo sauce – unbelievably delicious! We will be back – there is more food you try!

Went with my daughter. Food was hot and freshly prepared. Had lumpia as appetizer and chicken Pad Thai noodles. Dessert was so good…Halo Halo which is like eating a treasure hunt to please the palate. Service from Mark was excellent and he made sure we had what we needed. Portions were good. One of their coolest features is the traditional Kamayan Feast, where you get to eat an interactive buffet directly off banana leaves. You can tell that the passionate Filipino-American owners truly pour their hearts into every single plate they serve.
In addition to the great food, you can also shop for popular imported groceries and baked goods in their cute in-house market.
The only real catch is the long drive required to reach their Colorado Springs location. If you live in the central metro area, you’ll definitely need to commit to a bit of a road trip.

The food was super flavorful
The food was super flavorful. We got the BBQ pork. I really loved their version of a beef egg roll. Was a little disappointed they did not have empanadas, but what they did have was enough to give them all the stars. We tried the Ube cheese cake and flan, they were super rich and delicious. I look forward to returning. The teas might have been my favorite part. The whole family loved the drink options.
