The 5 Best Karaoke Spots in Denver for a Fun Night Out

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Song Selection: A great karaoke night starts with a catalog that does not feel dated or limited. I gave more weight to venues that offer a solid mix of classics, current hits, and crowd-pleasers across different genres.

Atmosphere and Crowd: The room matters almost as much as the songs. I looked for places that either create a supportive public stage environment or make private groups feel comfortable enough to actually sing.

Food and Drink Options: Long karaoke nights are much better when the kitchen and bar can keep up. Venues with convenient drink service and dependable late-night food scored better here.

Equipment and Room Setup: Nobody wants muffled microphones or screens that lag behind the lyrics. I paid attention to sound quality, monitor visibility, room size options, and how smooth the overall setup feels.

Value and Flexibility: Not every group wants the same kind of night out. I favored spots that make it easy to choose between public karaoke, private rooms, or party-friendly packages without many hidden trade-offs.

Singing your heart out on stage is an unbeatable way to spend a weekend. And so, whether you’re belting out power ballads with friends or planning a unique date night, finding the right spot makes all the difference.

The good thing is that the Mile High City has a fantastic mix of rowdy dive bars and upscale private rooms to fit your exact vibe.

To help you plan your next night out, I put together a list of the top spots for the best karaoke in Denver. With my picks, your next night out wil hitall the right notes, so read on and get ready to shine under the neon lights!

1. Rumours Karaoke Cafe

rumours-karaoke-cafe

Website:  https://rumourskaraokecafe.com/

Address: 450 East 17th Avenue #110

Contact: (720) 328-5285

Hours: Sunday-Friday, 6:00 PM – 1:59 AM; Saturday, 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Rumours Karaoke Cafe stands out because it gives you both a lively public stage and several dedicated private rooms.

With this setup. I love how you can bounce between a crowd and your own group depending on the mood. Finding a place that works for both confident performers and quieter singers is harder than it sounds, so I’m glad they have this option.

The full bar and late-night kitchen also make a real difference once the night stretches on. The hot wings were a pleasant surprise between songs, too

Just be aware of the pricing structure for the private rooms. Since these run on a per-person, per-hour basis, costs can add up quickly if you bring a large group and stay late.

Even so, it’s still a strong pick if you want a break from the usual nightclubs in Denver

The gated parking’s a bonus, too, and it made things much less stressful than I expected.

Pros

  • Multiple private room sizes for 9 to 28 guests
  • Late-night food menu available until close
  • Two main public stages
  • Free video-monitored gated parking

Cons

  • Per-person hourly rates add up quickly
  • Can get expensive for large groups that stay late

Amazing Night

It was our first time at this venue and we absolutely loved it. Everyone was so nice, from check-in to the bartender to the host playing the songs. We cannot wait to sing here again, and we are already planning to bring more family next time.

Extremely Attentive

We had a blast celebrating my cousin’s 30th birthday in a private karaoke room. We could keep queuing songs, the bar service was attentive, and the whole setup made it easy for everyone to relax and sing all night.

2. Landero’s Bar

Address: 1885 S. Federal Blvd.

Contact: (303) 922-2856

Hours: Monday-Tuesday, Closed; Wednesday-Thursday, 5:00 PM – 1:50 AM; Friday-Sunday, 3:00 PM – 1:50 AM

If you like a bar that feels part sports lounge and part neighborhood karaoke hangout, Landero’s Bar has a lot going for it.

The place shifts naturally from a casual spot to watch a game into a louder late-night room where people are actually willing to grab the mic.  It also feels welcoming in that easy local way, where regulars do not make the room feel closed off to newcomers.

I particularly like that the 21-and-older policy keeps the atmosphere more focused on adults who came out to drink, sing, and stay awhile.

On the downside, it’s completely closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. You really have to aim for the weekend if you want the livelier version of the place.

Pros

  • Dual-purpose sports bar and lounge
  • Strict 21-and-older entry policy
  • Early 3:00 PM weekend opening times
  • Welcoming neighborhood atmosphere

Cons

  • Completely closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

Good Unexpected Experience

I was having a bad week after breaking down in Denver on a trip from Tennessee, and I just wanted a karaoke bar nearby. I do not speak Spanish, but I was welcomed in, encouraged to sing, and the support from the disc jockey and staff honestly made my day better.

Especially Special

I loved being here. I got a raffle ticket late in the night and ended up winning concert tickets. You can sing karaoke from your table, and the mostly Latin song selection made the whole experience feel especially special.

3. Mozart’s Denver

mozarts-denver

Website:  https://www.mozartsdenver.com/

Address: 1417 Krameria Street

Contact: (303) 353-2320, [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM – Close; Friday-Sunday, 2:00 PM – Close

There’s something refreshing about doing karaoke in a bar that still feels like an old-school neighborhood dive.

Mozart’s Denver has been around for decades, and that history shows in the neon glow, the lived-in bar feel, and the kind of crowd that seems happy to cheer on almost anyone.

The atmosphere here is a nice contrast to the more club-like feel of many DJs in Denver

When I stopped by on a Sunday, the openly inclusive Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) energy made the room feel more like a gathering than a performance contest.

The downside is the schedule. Karaoke is limited to specific nights rather than being available on demand, so spontaneous midweek plans are harder to pull off.

Pros

  • Historic 1955 dive bar feel
  • Inclusive and LGBTQ-friendly crowd
  • Weekly pub entertainment beyond karaoke
  • Supportive local audience

Cons

  • Karaoke is limited to Thursdays and Sundays

Excellent Karaoke Venue

Friendly staff, a solid beer selection, and helpful food suggestions made this place easy to enjoy. The karaoke setup was excellent, and the crowd felt relaxed enough that it was fun to stay for more than a quick drink.

One of the Best Bars

This is one of the best bars I have been to. The bartenders are awesome, I have always felt welcome, and the karaoke nights are a big part of why I keep wanting to come back.

4. Muse Noraebang and Cafe

Website:  https://www.musenoraebang.com/

Address: 2222 S. Havana St. Suite D, Aurora

Contact: (720) 389-7807, [email protected]

Hours: Thursday-Monday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Having nearly unlimited song options changes the whole rhythm of a private karaoke night.

Muse Noraebang and Cafe delivers that kind of flexibility with a Korean-style singing room setup, colorful lighting, and YouTube integration. With this, it’s easier to find songs beyond the usual built-in catalog.

I also like how simple they make in-room ordering. The phone system lets you keep drinks and snacks coming without stopping the music, and the largest private room is roomy enough for a serious birthday or group celebration.

The catch? They implement automatic billing for bigger parties. Groups of eight or more are hit with an 18% gratuity, so the final bill can jump more than expected if you didn’t plan for it in advance.

Pros

  • Authentic Korean private-room setup
  • YouTube integration for wider song choices
  • Direct in-room phone ordering
  • Large party room with a built-in stage

Cons

  • Mandatory 18% gratuity for larger parties

East Asian Style

This place really delivers the private-room karaoke experience. The machines seem to be from Korea, which adds to the vibe, and the bar serves Korean drinks and shot deals that make the whole night feel more complete.

Exceeded My Expectations

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. I do not remember having this much fun in a long time. The private rooms make the experience even better, and the song selection in English, Spanish, and Korean gives everyone something to sing.

5. Lion’s Lair

lions-lair

Website:  https://www.lionslairco.com/

Address: 2022 E. Colfax Ave

Contact: (303) 320-9200

Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM; Thursday-Sunday, 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM

If you prefer your karaoke nights with more grit than polish, Lion’s Lair has the kind of old Colfax character that is hard to fake.

This place is an iconic underground venue popular for its cheap drinks and Sunday karaoke, which feels a lot more local than packaged.

The stage area’s tight, though. The room is narrow, it fills up fast, and moving around can be annoying on busy nights.

Nonetheless, the compact layout helps with energy when the room isn’t too packed, as it keeps the singers close to the crowd. If you hate bumping shoulders or waiting for a small opening near the bar, this setup may wear on you.

On the bright side, their daily happy hour also makes it one of the easier places on this list to do a few rounds without feeling like the tab got out of hand.

Pros

  • Energetic Sunday karaoke nights
  • Intimate layout close to performers
  • Daily happy hour drink discounts
  • Authentic underground music atmosphere

Cons

  • Very narrow dive bar layout
  • Crowded and hard to navigate on busy nights

Equal Hospitality

Great place. The staff are polite, friendly, and they treat regulars and first-timers with equal hospitality. Lion’s Lair also hosts comedy, live music, and open mic nights, so it feels like a chill stop whether you come with a group or on your own.
