Discovering the 5 Best LASIK Clinics in Denver for Clearer Vision

best-lasik-denver
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

  • Surgical Experience and Credentials: I prioritized clinics led by highly experienced surgeons who have completed thousands of successful procedures. Evaluating their background ensures that patients are in capable and safe hands.

  • Technology and Safety Standards: A clinic's equipment plays a major role in surgical outcomes and patient recovery. I looked for centers utilizing modern, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved technologies that offer precise mapping and bladeless options.
  •
  • Pricing and Financing Options: Transparent costs and flexible payment plans are crucial for patients budgeting for this significant investment. I examined whether these centers provide upfront pricing and accessible financing structures.
  •
  • Patient Care and Customization: A personalized approach to vision correction ensures that each individual receives the most appropriate treatment for their specific eyes. I assessed how thoroughly these clinics evaluate candidates and tailor their surgical plans.

Isn’t it exhausting to reach for glasses every morning or deal with dry contacts while you hike? Looking into laser vision correction is a great idea, then!

The right clinic matters, but finding the best LASIK surgeons in Denver takes time since you are trusting someone with your sight.

To help you out, I reviewed local eye doctors known for LASIK. Read on to choose a safe path for your vision with total confidence.

1. 20/20 Institute – Denver

Website: https://www.2020institute.com/lasik-denver/

Address: 1331 17th St M-120

Contact: (303) 202-0669

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

When you visit a surgeon-owned clinic like 20/20 Institute, you receive individual attention rather than feeling like a number in a large corporation.

One of the best features here is the use of Contoura Vision technology.  This advanced tool maps 22,000 elevation points on your eye for a truly custom treatment.

Thanks to this precision, most patients end up with 20/20 vision or better! The experienced medical team also uses the best diagnostic tools to thoroughly examine your eyes before any surgery.

You should know that they’re very selective. They follow strict safety standards, so they’ll only perform the surgery if you’re an ideal candidate.

Moreover, since they offer a boutique experience, the cost is higher than at high-volume budget centers. Many people find that the extra cost is worth the specialized care, though.

Pros

  • Extensive surgical expertise and experience
  • Personalized, non-factory care model
  • Advanced diagnostic pre-evaluation tools
  • Exceptionally high visual success rates

Cons

  • Highly stringent candidacy requirements; may turn away complex cases
  • Premium service pricing structure
  • Lacks budget-focused discount options

Customer Reviews:

They made LASIK easy and enjoyable
From start to finish, the team at 20/20 Institute made Lasik an easy and enjoyable experience. All of my questions were answered and I was given a thorough run down of what to expect before, during and after the procedure.

I was thrilled to drop my glasses off in the donation bin immediately before the operation and haven’t looked back.

Amazing experience!
Amazing experience! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Facilities were all very nice and comfortable. Showed up early to all of my appointments and they got me right in. Walked in not being able to see without contacts/glasses, and now have 20/15 vision. Only downfall was I didn’t do this sooner. I would highly recommend getting Lasik at 20/20! Life changing!

2. Cutarelli Vision – Denver LASIK

Address: 7900 E Union Ave #100

Contact: (303) 486-2020

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As the first clinic in the area to offer blade-free laser surgery, Cutarelli Vision has a strong reputation for excellence.

Dr. Cutarelli, the founder, is a highly skilled specialist who has completed tens of thousands of procedures at his own medical practice.

Patients I spoke with often appreciate how the staff explains their advanced night vision technology. This system is FDA-approved and helps reduce glare during night driving.

They also focus on creating custom vision plans for each person. Sometimes this includes alternative options, such as SMILE, when standard treatments are not ideal.

One thing to consider is that Dr. Cutarelly works at four different offices throughout the state. As a result, his time at this specific clinic is limited to certain days.

Plus, their strict weekday hours might make it a bit difficult for people with traditional work schedules to book a visit.

Pros

  • FDA-approved night vision technology
  • High overnight recovery success rates
  • Lifetime assurance protection plan
  • Personalized custom vision mapping

Cons

  • Limited appointment and scheduling flexibility
  • Surgeon availability varies by location
  • High standard for surgical candidacy
  • Turns away numerous standard applicants

Customer Reviews:

I had a great experience
I had a great experience at Cutarelli Vision. I had my lasik done and they were not painful at all. Everyone there were kind and helpful. They gave me time to adjust pre and post ops. I recommend everyone to come and consult with them. They will guide through the process and help you understand your eyes. Thank you Dr. Cutarelli and Team. You guys are the BEST in town.

Great place with awesome people!
Great place with awesome people! I was extremely far sighted with astigmatism in both eyes, which is generally a difficult prescription to treat surgically. Dr. Cutarelli had no hesitation based on that. I had a very good experience getting LASIK in both eyes. They provided detailed information before my procedure and answered all questions about post op care.

Contact: (866) 755-2026

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Choosing a major nationwide provider means you are working with LasikPlus, which has completed millions of surgeries since 1995.

One great benefit is their use of dual technology to match the laser to your specific eye structure. Their surgeons use a completely blade-free approach to improve safety for every patient.

They also offer flexible financing with no interest for up to 2 years to help you manage costs.

Because they’re so specialized, they don’t provide routine eye exams or general care.

You should also be aware of their advertisements for big discounts, but savings are available only to patients who meet certain physical requirements.

This means that while many people save money, the final price depends entirely on your specific needs and your eye health.

Pros

  • Entirely bladeless precision technology
  • Extremely high procedural volume
  • Flexible and accessible financing plans
  • Lifetime advantage enhancement plan

Cons

  • Limited scope of routine eye care
  • Promotions tied to strict requirements

4. Dishler Laser Institute

Address: 8400 E Prentice Ave #1200, Greenwood Village

Contact: (303) 793-3000

Hours:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Working with an internationally recognized inventor like Dr. Dishler gives you a lot of confidence. I was impressed to find out that he introduced the state’s very first refractive laser procedures decades ago.

Notably, Dishler Laser Institute uses exclusive technology for extreme precision and faster treatments. It’s no surprise that many local doctors refer their patients here.

My sister recently chose the SMILE procedure and loved the quick recovery. You can return to your normal life almost immediately.

During the surgery, though, you should expect some specific sounds and smells while the laser is active. Also, keep in mind that any future secondary fine-tuning surgeries might incur additional fees.

Their pricing is a big plus, though. With their flat-rate model, you pay the same amount no matter how complex your prescription is.

Pros

  • Transparent, all-inclusive flat pricing
  • Comprehensive suite of surgical options
  • Highly elite surgeon credentials
  • Extremely rapid visual recovery protocols

Cons

  • Potential fees for future enhancements
  • Sensory odors during laser operation
  • Sounds during the procedure can startle
  • Limited late afternoon scheduling available

Customer Reviews:

They take care of you from the get go
For anyone considering LASIK, Dishler is the place to be! They take care of you from the get go. I appreciate all the reminders they send so you feel taken care of every step of the way. Thank you for making me feel at ease at all phases (consultation, pre-op, surgery day and post op)!

I am happy I selected Dishler Laser Institute for LASIK
Thank you Dr. Dishler, Dr. Petraitis, Dr. Bray and the team for all that you do!! The laser technology used for my surgery made it seem so efficient and safe. Prior to surgery, my consult and pre-op appointment were thorough. The nurses and medical assistants worked so efficiently as well right before it was time for surgery. In addition, the front desk has been friendly, too. I am happy I selected Dishler Laser Institute for LASIK. It’s been worth the long drive from Colorado Springs.

5. TLC Laser Eye Centers

Website: https://www.tlcvision.com/

Address: 720 S Colorado Blvd Suite 140-A

Contact: (888) 931-3937

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TLC Laser Eye Centers uses a vast data network to offer a lifetime commitment program with free enhancements for qualifying patients. They work closely with thousands of local optometrists to ensure your care is smooth from start to finish.

I noticed they use advanced mapping tools and bladeless standards to help you achieve a vision that often exceeds expectations.

If you need a referral for a naturopath or a general physician down the line, maintaining clear sight will make navigating those appointments much easier.

However, you should know that they have very strict safety requirements. Because of these rules, they frequently turn away individuals who aren’t a perfect fit for the procedure.

You will also find that their prices are higher than those of budget-friendly eye clinics in the area. This is because you are paying for excellent technology and the peace of mind that comes with a lifetime guarantee.

Pros

  • Advanced topography-guided visual mapping
  • Reliable bladeless surgical safety standards
  • Nationwide portability for continued care
  • Flexible health savings financial options

Cons

  • Highly rigid surgical candidacy requirements
  • Noticeably premium pricing structures
  • Small percentage require secondary enhancements
  • Strict eligibility for lifetime guarantees
