1. St. Moritz Academy

Website: https://saintmoritzmassageschool.com/
Address: 6200 S Syracuse Way, Suite 135, Greenwood Village
Contacts: +1 720 248 7160
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 8 AM-8 PM
St. Moritz Academy takes an accelerated, hands-on approach that places a strong focus on real clinic experience. In its 650-hour massage therapy program, students complete more than 200 hours of supervised clinic work.
This structure helps students gain confidence and develop practical skills before graduation. As a result, many trainees leave the program feeling comfortable working with real clients.
The school is also appealing from a cost perspective. Tuition is under $10,000, and the program includes preparation for the MBLEx licensure exam. This helps students transition into professional practice more smoothly.
At the same time, the fast-paced schedule requires commitment. Students must maintain at least an 80 percent attendance rate, which can be challenging for those balancing other full-time responsibilities.

2. Colorado School of Healing Arts

Website: https://csha.net/
Address: 7655 W Mississippi Ave, Lakewood
Contacts: +1 303 986 2320
Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9 AM – 3 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Students who want a massage program that blends technique with personal awareness may find this school especially appealing.
The Colorado School of Healing Arts centers its training philosophy on the idea that massage is a service that supports both physical and emotional well-being.
A major part of the curriculum is the Body Insight method, which combines deep tissue work with guided movement and body awareness. This approach helps students understand how touch can influence the body and the mind.
The learning environment also supports individualized instruction. Classes maintain a six to one student to teacher ratio, giving students more opportunities for feedback and guidance.
The 700-hour program can typically be completed in about nine months through fully hands-on training.
Because the school focuses on practical skills, there are no remote learning options. Tuition is also higher than that of many local technical colleges due to its specialized bodywork focus.

3. Aveda Institute Denver

Website: https://avedainspiregreatness.com/denver-campus/
Address: 801 Kalamath St
Contacts: +1 303 567 7500
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Learning in a setting that mirrors a real spa can help students feel more confident when entering the workforce. Aveda Institute Denver brings this idea into its program by combining massage education with the well-known Aveda wellness philosophy.
Students learn traditional massage techniques along with Ayurveda-inspired rituals and spa-based wellness practices. The facility also mirrors a luxury spa setting, helping students adapt to a professional environment early in their training.
The strong reputation of the global Aveda brand can also support graduates when applying to upscale salons and spas.
The program’s heavy focus on Aveda products and service protocols might be limiting to some, though. The structured dress codes and corporate standards may also feel restrictive for students who prefer a more flexible training experience.

This school is simply the best
The Aveda Institute of Denver has completely exceeded my expectations, especially thanks to my incredible esthiology instructors, Amanda and Alyssa. They are the most passionate, caring, and inspiring teachers I’ve ever had — truly dedicated to our growth and success, both personally and professionally. Their love for teaching and genuine care for each student makes every day meaningful. I also have to shout out the amazing leadership from Joann and Karissa, who create such a supportive and empowering environment. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for esthetics, cosmetology, massage, or barbering — this school is simply the best.

4. Denver Integrative Massage School

Website: https://denverintegrativemassageschool.com/
Address: 1221 Galapago St
Contacts: +1 303 623 3121
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Denver Integrative Massage School offers a flexible training structure that blends online learning with hands-on clinical practice. The program allows students to complete lecture-based coursework online before attending in-person clinical intensives.
This hybrid model gives students the freedom to move at their own pace, with most finishing their certification in four to eighteen months. The curriculum also places strong emphasis on bodywork techniques that incorporate movement and assisted stretching.
Another highlight of the program is its supportive learning environment. Small class sizes allow instructors to provide more direct feedback. Many of the instructors are also active practitioners who bring real-world experience into the classroom.
The school also maintains a community-focused atmosphere that feels more personal than corporate. At the same time, the self-paced structure requires strong self-discipline.
Students must stay organized and take initiative when scheduling their required clinic hours.

My time here has been transformative
I chose DIMS because of their affordable tuition, flexible pacing, and mix of in-person and online training. My time here has been transformative and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn here among the talented teachers and dedicated students. I most appreciated that their curriculum gives you experience in so many different massage modalities, then lets you choose which modalities you want to focus on and spend your clinic time practicing. I wholeheartedly recommend DIMS to anyone looking to become a licensed massage therapist!

My time at DIMS was truly transformative
My time at DIMS was truly transformative. While leaving was bittersweet, I do so with a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude. The lessons I gained there extend far beyond the classroom; they shaped the way I think, grow, and carry myself into the next chapter of my life. Every teacher I encountered left an imprint on me, offering guidance, wisdom, and encouragement that I will carry wherever I go. Because of them, I move forward prepared, confident, and deeply thankful for the foundation they helped build.

5. Full Circle School of Massage Therapy

Website: https://efullcircle.com/
Address: 2101 S Blackhawk St #245 Aurora
Contacts: +1 720 667 4958
Hours: Monday – Saturday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Students interested in therapeutic bodywork often look for programs that focus on clinical results. Full Circle School of Massage Therapy takes this approach by teaching the Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT).
This method targets deep fascial restrictions and trigger points using positioning rather than heavy pressure. As a result, it’s often valued in medical settings and pain management clinics.
Another benefit of this technique is that it relies on passive positioning. This helps reduce strain on the therapist’s hands and joints during treatment.
The school supports learning through small class sizes, allowing students to receive more individualized guidance from instructors.
Flexible hybrid scheduling also makes it easier for students to manage their training alongside other responsibilities.
However, the curriculum focuses strongly on clinical bodywork. Students who prefer relaxation or spa-style massage may find the program less aligned with their goals. Tuition is about $12,800.

I’ve already signed up for another class
I took Full Circle’s ribcage and shoulder course early this year and have loved the education. As a LMT of 15 years, taking CEs that add value and length to my career are vital. I love that SMRT is less intense on the therapists body, as well as very in touch with the intuitive nature most therapists have. I’ve already signed up for another class and will do more!

This class is beyond worth it
SMRT is the best continuing education course I have ever taken. I am a massage therapist but this class would also be amazing for PTs and chiropractors as well. The anatomy knowledge and understanding of the human body that you gain from this class is extremely beneficial. This class is beyond worth it and I recommend it 110%
