The 5 Best Mental Health Clinics in Denver That’ll Help You Untangle Your Thoughts

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Therapeutic Expertise: We looked for clinics with highly trained, board-certified clinicians and specialized therapists. Having access to knowledgeable providers means your specific symptoms get treated with the most effective methods.
  • Treatment Flexibility: We focused on centers that offer both in-person sessions and telehealth, so you can pick what works best for your schedule. This flexibility makes it way easier to stick to your treatment plan.
  • Patient Environment: We paid close attention to the overall vibe of each clinic, making sure the spaces feel welcoming and safe. A comfortable, non-judgmental setting really helps reduce anxiety.
  • Care Accessibility: We also checked how easy it is to get an appointment and manage your care. Clinics with easy-to-use online portals, clear billing, and helpful support staff stood out on my list.

Finding the right support system can feel really overwhelming, especially when you’ve already got a lot on your plate. We all deserve a safe space where we can talk things out, build better coping skills, and boost our overall well-being.

If you’re a busy professional who needs remote sessions or a caregiver seeking specialized treatment for someone you care about, Denver has the best mental health clinics.

But with so many options out there, you might get confused about where to go. So to make things easier, we’ve put together a list of reliable clinics to help you take that brave first step toward feeling better.

I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking mental health care

I’m very satisfied with the care I have received with National Mental Health!! My psychiatrist Dr. Bristow has created a supportive environment that is non-judgemental and listens to the obstacles I am facing. I can honestly say that I feel comfortable in his care. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking mental health care!!

I feel completely heard

Extremely easy to get an appointment, had to wait a little but it was no big deal. The staff at the call center/office are so helpful and the links to paperwork were easy to access and complete. My provider Alison Baker was AMAZING and I feel completely heard. 10/10

Serenity Mental Health Centers focuses on treating tough, treatment-resistant conditions with advanced therapies like TMS and Ketamine. This can help when medication and talk therapy just aren’t enough.

They do a good job blending traditional psychiatric care with modern treatments. Their board-certified clinicians take the time to do in-depth evaluations and create a care plan that fits your unique needs.

We also like that their office has a comfortable, high-end feel that really helps calm your nerves before appointments.

However, advanced therapies like TMS often need a big time commitment. You should expect to come in for multiple in-person visits each week, sometimes over several months, to get the best results.

Pros

  • Provides access to cutting-edge TMS and Ketamine treatments
  • Combines traditional medication with modern interventions
  • Maintains a comfortable office
  • Offers highly personalized care plans

Cons

  • TMS treatments require a significant weekly time commitment

Denver Mental Health Center specializes in an age-specific treatment model that mixes therapy with academic support. With this, they can help young people manage mental health and substance use issues without falling behind in school.

They also offer a full range of treatment options, from intense outpatient programs to partial hospitalization, so care can be adjusted as students need more or less support.

Family therapy is a key part of their process, making sure things stay stable at home while treatment happens. On top of that, they’re great at building a supportive peer group, so young people can connect and recover together.

However, because the program is designed for teens and young adults, it isn’t the right fit for older adults looking for general psychiatric care.

Pros

  • Specializes in age-specific treatment for teens and young adults
  • Flexible outpatient and hospitalization options
  • Strong peer-group community focus
  • Combines therapy and academic support

Cons

  • Not for older adult patients

Alis Behavioral Health’s team speaks several languages, making it easy for people from different backgrounds to get the help they need without facing language barriers.

With a culturally sensitive approach, they combine traditional psychiatry with holistic services. Because of this, more people can access care that fits their lifestyle.

They’re also focused on trauma-informed support and helping people who deal with high-stress jobs. This is a huge plus for many in Denver’s workforce.

Plus, their flexible hybrid care lets you pick between in-person clinic visits or secure telehealth sessions.

Unfortunately, if you prefer strictly medication-based treatment without any lifestyle-focused elements, their integrative approach might not be exactly what you’re after.

Pros

  • Blends clinical care with wellness
  • Multilingual staff for easy communication
  • Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive
  • Flexible in-person or telehealth option

Cons

  • Not strictly medication-based care
