We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Service Range: We checked the specific types of orthodontic treatments each clinic offers. We favored practices that provide flexible options ranging from traditional metal braces to clear aligners and early intervention.

Pricing & Packages: We evaluated the overall treatment costs and available financing structures. Clinics that accept major insurance plans and offer flexible payment schedules scored much higher in our rankings.

Specialist Approach: We looked closely at how each practice uses modern technology to create personalized treatment plans. Patient comfort and precise, tech-driven diagnostics were major deciding factors for our top picks.

Location & Accessibility: We considered the convenience of the clinic locations throughout the busy Denver area. Easy parking access and flexible appointment availability also played a big role in finding patient-friendly practices.

Staff Credentials: We verified the licensing, board certifications, and years of clinical experience of the primary orthodontists. High patient satisfaction and a proven track record of safe, effective care finalized our top list.

Fixing your teeth should never feel like a scary or high-pressure experience. You deserve a clear and comfortable path to a smile you love.

So, finding the best orthodontist in Denver means looking past flashy marketing for a doctor who truly listens to your concerns.

Because every smile tells a unique story, I explored the city’s top-rated clinics to help you skip the guesswork. These local practices prioritize your comfort, making that perfect smile totally achievable.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Founded by Dr. Justin Owens, Owens Orthodontics delivers personalized and communicative care that is tailored to your specific alignment goals.

Right off the bat, they make sure you feel totally informed and relaxed throughout your entire journey here in the local area.

I recently tagged along with a friend for her initial consultation, and the doctor immediately put her at ease by explaining every single step without rushing.

It’s also refreshing because they genuinely prioritize clear communication over pushing expensive treatments. You can also easily choose between traditional braces or clear aligners based on your specific lifestyle.

One downside is their heavy focus on standard alignment, so they are not the best fit if you need complex surgical procedures.

However, if you want a supportive environment that focuses on long-term dental health, this practice really stands out.

Pros

  • Offers comprehensive clear aligner and braces options
  • Prioritizes clear, transparent patient communication
  • Features a welcoming environment for kids and adults
  • Focuses on long-term dental health and function

Cons

  • Doesn’t specialize in complex maxillofacial surgeries
  • Focuses strictly on standard alignment procedures

Advanced Orthodontic Care speeds up the treatment by using modern methods like indirect bonding and a dedicated in-house lab. Because of these tools, you get top-tier precision and shorter appointment times right here in the metro area.

They also use advanced technology to place brackets faster and improve your overall accuracy. Plus, with their on-site lab, you never have to wait long for appliance adjustments or repairs.

They also provide excellent early intervention screening to catch developing jaw issues in younger kids. You can even count on their emergency services if a wire snaps unexpectedly.

However, the reliance on such specialized lab materials means uninsured patients might face higher out-of-pocket costs.

While some people visit aesthetic clinics in Denver for fast cosmetic fixes, true dental alignment really requires this level of clinical precision. They simply get the job done right while keeping your comfort and long-term health in mind.

Pros

  • Uses modern technology for faster brace placement
  • Maintains an on-site laboratory for quick turnarounds
  • Provides specialized early intervention for kids
  • Offers rapid emergency orthodontic services

Cons

  • Reliance on advanced lab tech increases out-of-pocket costs
  • Standard clinic pricing might be cheaper for the uninsured

3. Speaks Orthodontics

speaks-orthodontics

Website: https://www.speaksorthodontics.com/

Address: 3141 Irving St. #201

Contact: (720) 740-1119

Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: Based on availability

Speaks Orthodontics pairs board-certified expertise with a modern and non-corporate vibe right here in the city. They champion accessible care and strong community involvement instead of focusing on rigid corporate profit metrics.

I recently chatted with a neighborhood parent whose son goes here, and she raved about how the doctor actually remembers personal details from visit to visit. With their approach, patients feel like they’re treated like a human rather than just another chart.

The team even constantly shows up for local events, proving they care about Denver outside of the office.

One small catch involves their Friday schedule. Since they have limited availability at the end of the week, it can create scheduling headaches for busy professionals.

Even so, they accept most major insurance plans, which makes quality alignment highly affordable for everyone.

Pros

  • Led by a highly knowledgeable board-certified professional
  • Operates as an independent, non-corporate practice
  • Accepts most major insurance plans for affordability
  • Actively supports local community service initiatives

Cons

  • Friday appointments are restricted based on availability
  • Can be difficult for busy professionals to schedule late in the week

Customer Reviews:

They are incredibly consistent and compassionate
Dr. Speaks and team have been so wonderful throughout the process of my Spark Aligners! They are incredibly consistent and compassionate. The staff has always been so welcoming and kind – always taking the time to answer any questions I have and making each appointment feeling personable and not rushed. I’m so grateful for the team and smile with confidence these days.

The front desk staff were very nice
I went in for a free consultation for jaw pain. Dr. Speaks was incredibly thorough and spent time patiently explaining what he was seeing and teaching me how to treat it. Turns out I do not need orthodontia! The front desk staff were very nice and Dalia, who is the treatment coordinator, was also very kind. 10/10 from me!

Oh, and my grandson is being treated by Dr. Speaks and he and his parents are very happy so far.

They also eliminate uncomfortable old-school bite molds by using fast 3D scanning equipment instead. You can even get custom splints made right in the office to help manage jaw pain effectively.

Their diverse team includes a dedicated lab tech and skilled clinical assistants who truly know their stuff. Just like people look into treatments like HIFU in Denver to tighten their skin safely, patients come here for structural facial wellness.

Because they include comprehensive joint and airway therapies in every visit, initial consultations take longer than average. While this thorough approach demands more of your time upfront, it ensures your long-term health is the priority.

Overall, this practice is perfect if you want a complete approach to your dental care and general comfort.

Pros

  • Conducts routine airway and TMJ assessments
  • Replaces messy traditional bite molds with 3D scanning

Customer Reviews:

The price of the repair was very fair
Exceptional Experience! I wasn’t a patient here, before today. I had a permanent wire retainer on two front teeth, applied in a different state, come loose after 17 years.  This wonderful office got me in right away and placed a new wire retainer on my teeth.  The staff here is so friendly and the work excellent.  The price of the repair was very fair.  I had called six other orthodontic clinics. They either wouldn’t do it or wanted up to $500 more to do the same job.    I’m so grateful for the awesome service at this clinic.

They make the experience feel very welcoming
I started with bringing my 2 kids here to get braces.. it was an awesome experience working with the staff. They make the experience feel very welcoming. I myself have gotten braces and with there support to try and make your experience here great it’s been an amazing transition with the braces… Thanks again for you treating my family like your family..
