  •
  • Specialized Expertise: A general endocrinologist is helpful for basic needs. We specifically looked for doctors with deep focus areas like cancer or autoimmune disorders.
  •
  • Patient Accessibility: Getting an appointment shouldn't feel like a part-time job. We evaluated scheduling systems and insurance networks to ensure a smooth patient intake.

Customer Reviews:

Always makes me feel at ease
After having thyroid issues for many years, Denver Endocrinologist Lori Gerard always makes me feel at ease.

This last visit, I saw Nurse practitioner Stacey who was just as wonderful. She explained my situation very well. I felt much better knowing what I’m dealing with.

I would definitely recommend you all.

Thank you all so much.

Dr. Lori Gerard is absolutely amazing
Dr. Lori Gerard is absolutely amazing. This is not a statement I normally make about doctors however she deserves it. She has a warm bedside manner, smart as a whip, and really cares to get to the root of the problem not just treat your symptoms. She knows so much about supplements and foods and how they can affect your thyroid and blood tests. She doesn’t shame you for your choices or wanting to go a natural route. She’s got personality for days. If I could see her for every medical issue I would.

Website: https://www.healthonephysiciangroup.com/en-US

Address: 1601 E 19th Ave #5500

Contact: (303) 228-1240

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

HCA HealthONE Denver Endocrinology gives you direct access to the massive HCA network, which provides a strong safety net of advanced medical facilities.

They manage the full spectrum of endocrine health by treating adrenal and thyroid disorders simultaneously. This broad focus ensures they catch overlapping hormone issues early.

Plus, they prioritize a balanced treatment strategy that combines lifestyle changes with standard medication.

Because they’re part of such a large system, you get seamless referrals for specialized surgery. You also benefit from the collective knowledge of over two hundred providers.

However, because this is a huge corporate network, the administrative side can feel quite bureaucratic. You have to navigate a complex system, and patients with non-hormonal symptoms will need extra coordination.

This approach offers great medical depth but requires some patience with the paperwork.

Pros

  • Seamless referral access to major hospitals
  • Individualized hormone treatment plans
  • Massive collective provider expertise
  • Access to advanced clinical research

Cons

  • Bureaucratic administrative environment
  • Highly limited specialty-specific scope

Customer Reviews:

Friendly and kind demeanor!
I have been seeing Dr. Bull for thyroid issues for over a year now. Every time I see her, she spends a good amount of time with me the discussing details of any recent symptoms or changes. Last year, I had an in office procedure done which was quite physically uncomfortable, but she made it bearable with her friendly and kind demeanor!

Wonderful office
This whole place has really helped me through some hard times and I can’t be more thankful for Dr. B and their wonderful coordinator Linda who helps me schedule my appointments and is always so patient and kind! She was the first introduction I had to the office and I was nervous at first but she has answered all my questions and made me feel welcome and taken care of from the first time I went to schedule an appointment. Wonderful office.

Comprehensive Endocrinology focuses on an evidence-based personal care model. They combine advanced medical science with a great deal of individual attention.

Dr. Claudia Panzer is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, which is a prestigious title. Because her practice is small, your specific needs are met without you feeling rushed.

I visited her clinic to ask about their Continuous Glucose Monitoring technology and found the staff to be incredibly attentive. They even handle thyroid biopsies right in the office.

Some patients, however, might explore holistic care with a naturopath before turning to a medical expert like Dr. Panzer.

Since they focus exclusively on medical hormone management, they don’t handle any primary care issues. You’ll also need to find a separate surgeon if you need a physical nodule removed.

Pros

  • Deep specialization in complex thyroid care
  • Elite fellowship-level medical training
  • Exclusive focus on endocrine issues
  • Direct in-office diagnostic capabilities

Cons

  • No primary care services offered
  • Strictly medical focus without surgical options

Customer Reviews:

Always so thorough
There’s nobody like Dr. Claudia Panzer! I have the utmost confidence in her after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Her exams are always so thorough and complete! I drive over 200 miles to come see Dr. Panzer per visit because I know that she knows her stuff and will do her best to keep me healthy.

Dr. Panzer has taken great care of me over the years
I have been seeing Dr. Panzer since January, 2013 when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She was referred to me by my well-respected primary care physician who had nothing but great things to say about her both as a doctor and as a person. Dr. Panzer is wonderful with her patients and has great bedside manner. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine seeing any other doctor for my condition, nor do I need to as she has taken great care of me over the years. I highly recommend that anyone who is in need of an endocrinologist should give her a try.

Customer Reviews:

I love my doctor
I love my doctor, Dr Lund has been great with me helping me manage my multiple health issues. He is great with explaining things so that I understand what is happening with my health. The staff is wonderful and Rocky his assistant is great as well.

Dr. Lund is kind and caring
Dr. Lund is kind and caring but what I like is that he’s no nonsense. I appreciate that in my case, he doesn’t overdue my ongoing care with unneeded tests or visits. But if I do have a concern it would be addressed quickly.

5. Colorado Endocrinology

Colorado Endocrinology offers a unique survivor-led empathy approach, with Dr. Sharmini Long being a thyroid cancer survivor herself.

She, along with another lead doctor, possess high-volume procedural expertise, having performed over a thousand biopsies each. They pair traditional hormone management with surgical weight loss options.

You get access to a fantastic one-stop diagnostic suite for ultrasound and biopsy needs. They even offer in-house genetic mutation analysis to handle indeterminate biopsy results quickly.

And I love that their clinical team places a heavy emphasis on proactive patient education.

  • Broad acceptance of major insurance plans
  • Strong focus on patient empowerment

  • Strict financial penalties for missed appointments
