We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Service Range: A comprehensive inventory is crucial for busy parents who need everything in one stop. We looked for shops offering a wide variety of items like clothing, strollers, cribs, and feeding essentials.

Pricing & Packages: Budget plays a huge role when preparing for a newborn. We evaluated pricing, bundle deals, registry perks, and the availability of seasonal discounts.

Specialist Approach: Many families prefer curated selections that align with specific values. Our assessment highlighted places focusing on organic products, eco-friendly brands, or premium gear selections.

Location & Accessibility: Shopping with a bump or a stroller requires a welcoming physical space. We prioritized store locations across the city with accessible layouts and convenient parking.

Staff Credentials: First-time parents rely heavily on expert advice to make safe choices. We gauged each team’s product knowledge, customer service quality, and ability to give solid recommendations.

Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s brightest moments, but the shopping that comes with it can feel overwhelming. Expectant parents need reliable gear, while gift shoppers want something thoughtful to celebrate the arrival.

I know how easy it is to get lost in strollers, blankets, and tiny outfits, so I pulled together the best baby stores in Denver that make the process feel more fun.

How much does merchandise in a baby store cost in Denver?

Parents usually spend about $40 to $80 per month on everyday baby essentials, while bigger gear and furniture purchases often run from $125 to $500 or more.

CategoryTypical Price Range
Essential gear and furniture$125 – $500+
Specialty boutique items$86+ per item
Curated gift baskets$85 – $180+
Monthly essentials average$40 – $80

1. Little Bird Denver – Park Hill

little-bird-denver-park-hill

Website: https://littlebirddenver.com

Address: 2200 Kearney St

Contact: (720) 266-0641

Hours: Sunday-Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Thursday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Little Bird Denver feels more like a neighborhood hangout than a standard baby shop.

The owner built it as a place where local families can shop, connect, and even use the in-house children’s hair studio, which adds something genuinely different to the experience.

I also like that the store covers a wide size range, from newborn pieces to clothing for older kids and early teens. Its sensory-friendly apparel is another standout for families trying to avoid irritating tags or fussy closures.

When I stopped in for a birthday outfit, it was easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. The only catch is that in-store pickup can take longer than expected, and gift bundles can change quickly depending on what is in stock that week.

Pros

  • Sensory-friendly clothing designs
  • Fits infants to early teens
  • Hosts local community events
  • Detailed salon styling options

Cons

  • Unpredictable gift item stocks
  • Noticeable in-store pickup delays

Contact: (720) 456-7425 | [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Broomtail Wash Park works well for parents who want a calmer, more supportive shopping setup.

The founder moved away from the usual cramped boutique feel and created a stroller-friendly store with wide aisles. This makes a real difference when you’re shopping with a baby in tow.

The shop also feels thoughtful in the way it supports its community. Shoppers can earn rewards through both purchases and local parent engagement, and the flexible store credit or exchange options add a little breathing room if a gift doesn’t work out.

I appreciate how personal the service feels here, especially if you need help pulling together a quick birthday or shower gift.

Just keep in mind that discounted items are final sale, so it’s not the best place to make a hesitant purchase.

Pros

  • Flexible store credit safety net
  • Personal customer support guarantee
  • Fee-free digital gift cards
  • Instant delivery for digital presents

Cons

  • Final sale on discounted items

Cute boutique for unique baby and children’s books

Such a cute boutique for unique baby/children’s books, clothes, and more!

The person who helped me out Saturday AM was so personable and walked me through excellent suggestions for a 1st birthday party I was going to later that day. She even gave complimentary wrapping service which was a huge help! Thank you so much; I couldn’t stop talking about the store to everyone at the party!

The cutest selection of kid and baby clothes

The cutest selection of kid and baby clothes, books, and toys! The staff have helped me curate the perfect little gift bundles for friends and family! Great location in wash park to grab a sweet at the bakery next door!

3. Wild West Baby Co

wild-west-baby-co

Website: https://wildwestbaby.com

Address: 3875 Tennyson St

Contact: (303) 362-3470 | [email protected]

Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Wild West Baby Co has the kind of curation that makes gift shopping feel easy. The owner draws from her own experience raising two sons and personally tests the products she brings in, so the selection feels practical without losing its charm.

That balance shows up across the store. The clothing, books, and accessories feel polished, but not so precious that they lose everyday usefulness.

It reminded me of the kind of fun finds I usually hope to stumble across at weekend markets, only with a tighter focus on babies and young kids.

I was also impressed by the 30-day return window for undamaged items. Plus, the shop has fast order processing for when you need a last-minute baby shower gift.

The downside is that return standards are strict, especially if original tags are missing.

Pros

  • Generous 30-day refund window
  • Equal in-store return flexibility
  • Guaranteed prompt order dispatch
  • Strict customer data protection

Cons

  • Non-refundable worn or untagged items

A lovely experience at Wild West Baby

I had a lovely experience at Wild West Baby today. I went in looking for an outfit for my son. Steven was so great to hop right in and help pull some ideas in my color scheme. I ended up buying a puffy vest. Shortly after I left, Steven texted me sharing that he found the perfect outfit as he was unpacking a new shipment and sent a picture. It immediately headed back to buy it. It was so kind of Steven to follow up via text with an option that was perfect for what I was looking for.

Best selection at every price point

Out of tower looking for a baby gift and stumbled upon Wild West from a google search. What a find! This store has the best selection of beautiful clothes and books, accessories, at every price point. Lovely customer service. I will be back!

4. Wish Gifts

wish-gifts

Website: https://wishgiftsdenver.com

Address: 1099 S. Gaylord St

Contact: (303) 722-2900 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Wednesday, Friday-Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Thursday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wish Gifts is especially helpful when you need baby shower shopping to feel fast and easy. The store is known for its children’s selection, filled with products that are presented as safe and environmentally responsible instead of just cute on a shelf.

It’s also a smart stop for gift buyers who don’t want to build a basket from scratch. You can share your budget and let the staff pull together a custom gift box.

There’s even on-site wrapping that saves time when you’re headed straight to an event. Or you can let them handle bulk gifting for offices and baby shower events near local wedding venues

The main drawback is the short 10-day return window, which doesn’t leave much room for second thoughts.

Pros

  • Stimulates the local economy
  • Two distinct retail storefronts
  • Specialized corporate gifting options
  • Regular charitable profit redistribution

Cons

  • Extremely short 10-day return period

A one stop shop for meaningful moments

I had such a wonderful experience shopping at Wish. They truly have everything you could possibly need, from birthdays and weddings to self care items, baby showers, and all kinds of special celebrations. It is a one stop shop that makes preparing for meaningful moments so much easier.

The best gift shop in town

There is a reason Wish Gifts won 5280’s best gift shop in town. I love that this shop not only has gifts for your mom, sister, grandma and best friend – but for the dudes in your life and of course children! You honestly could get all your Christmas shopping here (and birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, etc). The staff is amazing and the owner is all about local! I also love that every December, they bring Santa in (for free)! Check Wish Gifts out; you won’t be disappointed.

5. Talulah Jones

talulah-jones

Website: https://talulahjones.com

Address: 1122 E 17th Ave

Contact: (303) 832-1230 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Talulah Jones is the kind of shop that pulls you in the second you walk through the door. It’s been around since 2002, and the space feels warm, colorful, and intentionally designed for people who enjoy browsing for something a little different.

Parents shopping for baby gifts will probably notice the handcrafted feel of the inventory right away. I’m a huge fan of the dedicated Jellycat section!

Aside from their inventory, the shop is praised for its easy online pickup option, which helps when you already know what you want and don’t feel like waiting for shipping.

The tradeoff is that this store leans premium. Some specialty items can feel pricey, and popular pieces often sell out fast. It’s not the best fit if you’re shopping on a strict budget or need guaranteed stock for a specific toy.

Pros

  • Accepts modern digital wallets
  • Secure online payment infrastructure
  • Dedicated premium brand sections
  • Convenient location-based order pickup

Cons

  • Exorbitant pricing on specialty items
  • Frequent low stock constraints

The perfect store to find a unique gift

This is the perfect store to find a unique gift for your friend, or your mom, or your cousin who is having a baby shower in a couple of weeks. Or, you can just get something fun for yourself! I was enthralled by a collection of cards that had unique artwork on them.

Parking is a bit tricky so be prepared to drive around the block a time or two, but it’s worth it!

The best shop I know of in Central Denver for gifts

This is the best shop I know of in Central Denver for gifts! Especially for children and baby showers, but they also have very creative choices for men and women. It’s such a pleasure to be in this warm, colorful store!
