Here, they offer a wide selection of artisan breads and sweet treats. Trying their fresh chocolate croissant in the morning is a fantastic way to start your day on a high note.
It’s also notable that these bakers use old-fashioned methods to achieve the best texture in every loaf they sell. The lively environment also adds a lot of character to the bakery and makes each visit exciting.
Even though the shared seating area is often packed during the busy lunch hour, the quality of the food makes standing around worth it.

Customer Reviews:
Every bite was decadent and flavorful
We enjoyed a delicious Friday brunch, with their eggs benedict on croissant, the Izzio tostada, mango passionfruit croissant le bar, and the Boston creme croissant. Every bite was decadent and flavorful. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Staff were incredibly kind and friendly! Definitely coming back to continue trying out all their pastries!

EVERYTHING is just delicious
We tried a lot of different items from the bakery and let me tell you that EVERYTHING is just delicious. The Carrot cake is not too heavy, the cheesecake is creamy and the gluten free cookie almost taste like a BROWNIE dough = amazing

2. Detour Bakery

Website: https://www.detourbakery.com
Address: 1479 S Holly St
Contact: (303) 756-2020, [email protected]
Hours: Monday – Sunday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Tucked quietly into a welcoming neighborhood, Detour Bakery brings traditional French baking right to your backyard.
They’re actually a local destination for comforting flavors and classic breads. Also, their early-morning schedule is great for early risers who want a warm, buttery start to a busy day.
Their masterfully made baguettes crackle perfectly when you gently break them open. Moreover, their large selection of croissants always provides beautiful flakes from the very first bite.
However, the biggest downside is that their popular items sell out very quickly. Because there is such high demand for their signature treats, latecomers often leave empty-handed.
If you want to try their best breads, it’s a good idea to arrive as early as possible, before everything is gone for the day.
Customer Reviews:
Everything was very fresh
Tried several of the croissants and cinnamon breads as well as a small quiche. All of it was very good!! Also got some of the breads to go and everything was very fresh and looked amazing! The shop was very clean and inviting and the owner was very friendly! Definitely would recommend for any coffee or bakery needs. You can also order larger items to go ahead of time such as loaves or bread or large quiches.

The smells were so delicious
Such a lovely little hole-in-the-wall cafe! The smells were so delicious and the pastries looked even better. Such a large selection of goodies to choose from. I got a strawberry cream cheese croissant and it was one of the softest and fluffiest croissants I’ve had in Denver, period. The latte was very good and oat milk is available (yay!). Would definitely recommend to a friend, especially if you want a cute and quiet cafe to hide in.

Tokyo Premium Bakery is a great destination for anyone who wants to try unique Japanese-style pastries. Here, they offer a mix of traditional and modern treats that add something special to the local food scene.
Because the shop opens so early, it’s a perfect stop for people heading to work in the morning. Biting into a savory beef curry bun is a wonderful way to enjoy a different kind of morning snack.
They also sell beautiful sweets and unique items, such as fresh fruit sandwiches.
On the downside, they’re closed Mondays. This makes it a little harder to get your favorite pastries right at the beginning of the week.
Customer Reviews:
It’s one of my favorites!
I love Tokyo Premium Bakery — amazing atmosphere, great matcha, and one of my favorite places to study. The staff is always so kind!
I have a small request: I really love your egg & bacon item, but since I don’t eat bacon, it would be great if you could offer a halal-friendly version with just egg. It’s one of my favorites!
Also, the beef curry is incredible — highly recommend!

Super fluffy and flavorful
I love coming here for the pastries, they have so many options (try to get there on the earlier side if there’s something you specifically want). The beef curry donut was an unexpected favorite for me, I crave it pretty often. Super fluffy and flavorful if you like beef curry!

Customer Reviews:
It’s definitely a must-try
100/100 We ordered the BOB tart and the pistachio croissant, and both were really impressive. The BOB tart has apple butter in the middle, which adds a nice touch without being too sweet. The pistachio croissant was also surprisingly good — I usually dislike pistachio pastries because they taste artificial, but this one tasted natural and not overwhelming. You can tell they use good ingredients and put care into what they make. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a must-try.

Our favorite was the croissant, perfectly buttery and flaky
Stumbled across this lovely little bakery and was absolutely BLOWN away. Had the pretzel, bob tart, and the blackberry sage croissant. Each were divine. Our favorite was the croissant, perfectly buttery and flaky. The blackberry jam, with hints of sage, was the most delicious compliment. Abby the kind lady in the front was so sweet and kind. I’ll be back slas soon as possible.

To avoid missing out, you should try to get there as soon as they open for the day. Arriving early also gives you the best chance to secure a nice seat on their lovely patio before the crowds arrive.
Customer Reviews:
Everything was wonderful
GET THE HAM AND BUTTER SANDWICH. You won’t be disappointed. We also got their butter croissant, ham and gruyere croissant, brioche bun, and their pain au chocolat. Everything was wonderful.
Get there early for the largest variety. We got there at 10:30-11:15 both days we went, and most things were gone. Pretty standard for a bakery.

We really enjoyed our morning at Goodbread this past weekend! The croissants and pastries are all delicious and the latte was really nice as well. Loved sitting outside on the shaded porch and having coffee with some high quality breakfast treats. Dog friendly and a good vibe all around.
