Customer Reviews:
It was delicious
We stopped in here for breakfast and my wife and I split the Ham Benny…it was delicious. The hash brown was just ok, but I’m also not really a hash brown guy so don’t read too much into that. Our friends got sausage gravy and biscuits and pancakes and both thought they were great.

Everything was cooked to perfection
Ideal location for any number of breakfast hankerings! Lattes were on point and strong! The bacon was very flavorful, and everything was cooked to perfection. All the staff was so friendly and open and easy to chat with, that was the cherry on top! I’ll definitely be coming back soon, probably tomorrow! I’d be here more often if I was at Denver local, for sure.

Great breakfast spot
Stopped by Fox and The Hen in the Highlands and had the pancakes and the sausage mac muffin — both were excellent! The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, and the sausage mac muffin had a great balance of savory and cheesy flavor. Service was friendly, the place felt welcoming, and the overall vibe made it a great breakfast spot. Definitely coming back to try more items next time.

Very attentive and kind
It’s rare to find a breakfast place that also has killer coffee, this is one of those places. The drip coffee was perfect, and the “beat Bobby Flay-vos” (huevos rancheros) was killer. Definitely spring for the spicy egg salad and crispy potato appetizer — it’s bite sized and perfectly crispy, creamy, and a lil spicy. Customer service was also exceptional, one of our entrees was late due to a mix up and they comped that entree without us even saying anything. They were also very attentive and kind. This will definitely be a regular place on our breakfast rotation.

Customer Reviews:
The food was good and service was excellent
While visiting Denver I was craving cornbeef hash with eggs and found this cool diner who served that. I came on sat noon and the place was crowded. I sat right away on the bar and the bartender was great and helped me right away. The food was good and service was excellent. The place is huge and I loved the style. Overall I had a great experience and I would recommend this place. If you in downtown Denver and looking for good breakfast I would definitely visit this place. Hope that helped…

Friendly staff, nice menu variety
Wandering and wondering where to go for breakfast in downtown Denver when we stumbled on into Sam’s 3. Apparently it’s been downtown since 1927…I don’t know what the deal was with Sam’s 1 or 2, but 3 had it right. Friendly staff, nice menu variety- I had a Denver omelet because, of course, this is Denver. If I lived downtown I’d eat there every day.

This place is actually the greatest
This place is actually the greatest. Every time I come here the service is fabulous. Ordering at the counter makes it very easy and stress free. No waiting on a check! Plenty of seating space even a cozy upstairs section and a great patio. I have had the crepes, breakfast burrito, and breakfast sandwich and somehow they executed perfectly on all of them. They also have fabulous lattes. Genuinely couldn’t recommend more. The staff who work here are so on top of it and kind and welcoming.

The crepes are perfect
Such a delightful little cafe. Delicious coffee and food. The crepes are perfect if you’re looking for a fresh bite but don’t want to be weighed down by a traditional American breakfast. The owner was there and is so sweet. We’re not from Denver but I’d make sure to make it a stop on my next trip.

Fresh, bright, and filling
This breakfast had me dreaming about the leftovers while actively throwing in the towel for round 1. The chicken and biscuits were perfectly executed with a balanced hot honey. I ordered a perfectly jammy egg, and it was actually cooked correctly… this never happens!!! My table also enjoyed the mushroom frittata. Fresh, bright, and filling. Great location. Gorgeous dining room. I cannot wait to return!

We had the most amazing experience
We had the most amazing experience at The Original. It was our birthday and my sister and I went to enjoy breakfast. We had the most genuine, kind server name Teej and he made the whole experience just absolutely amazing. The management and Teej were so sweet to us and just made us feel so so special. And then on top, the food was so tasty and flavorful. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone to go enjoy food and the wonderful service here!
