Let’s dive in to identify the perfect place to upgrade your look and keep your eyesight sharp.

Finding a clinic that balances advanced medical care with a fun, personalized shopping experience often feels nearly impossible. Luckily, this LoDo establishment bridges that gap by offering a very accessible $75 eye exam alongside a diverse team of experts.
These specialists cover everything from pediatric care to ocular diseases. Instead of seeing a generalist, you get specialized attention and advanced technology, such as the Optomap exam.
This is a huge benefit because it often removes the need for those uncomfortable dilating drops. The staff also avoids a pushy sales vibe and focuses on finding independent frames that truly fit your style.
While the care is exceptional, keep in mind that they focus on luxury boutique brands. This means the total cost for your eyewear will be at a premium price point.

The eyeglasses selection is both varied and chic
I’ve been a patient for years, and what first drew me in was the high-end feel of the practice. What’s kept me coming back is the consistently kind customer service. My doctor is personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to which always makes appointments feel reassuring. The eyeglasses selection is both varied and chic. I especially love the checkout experience—they really take the time to help me find the right pair, and the stylists are knowledgeable too.

2. Queen City Optical Provisions

Stepping into a traditional eye doctor’s waiting room usually involves sterile lighting and a cold, clinical atmosphere. But this unique spot in the Berkeley neighborhood redefines that experience by offering a sophisticated, gallery-like space.
They exclusively stock handcrafted, small-batch brands rather than standard options. The shop is owned by a second-generation certified optician who does a great job of pairing these fashion-forward frames with high-tech prescription lenses.
When I recently visited to pick up sunglasses for a friend, I was struck by the friendly neighborhood vibe and the attentive, one-on-one styling session I received.
You get a high level of technical expertise along with convenient on-site care, so you can handle your medical exam and shopping all at once.
Just keep in mind that their focus on artisan designers results in a higher entry cost. Because of this, shoppers seeking mass-market corporate labels will need to look elsewhere.
The customer service is out of this world
Not only do they have the best selection and the most unique eyewear, but the customer service is out of this world. Scot hand delivered a gift card to our house to ensure it would make it in time for my husbands 50th birthday! Will give them my business for years to come 🙂

I had such a wonderful experience
I had such a wonderful experience at Queen City! Scot couldn’t have been more helpful or warm. He showed me a bunch of different types of glasses, giving me great feedback on fit and style that was actually helpful when making a decision. They have so many unique and interesting brands but you can also find classic and timeless styles as well. I am so excited about the pair I got and would definitely recommend Queen City to anyone. 🤗

3. LensCrafters

Address: 3000 E 1st Ave 2220
Contact: (303) 321-8331
Hours: Monday – Saturday: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
LensCrafters is part of a global network, so it offers an unrivaled portfolio of designer eyeglass brands. If you’re already in the neighborhood browsing aesthetic clinics, stepping into this modern showroom for a quick fitting is incredibly convenient.
The sheer volume of inventory means you can try on countless high-end styles immediately after receiving a precise digital map of your eye from their advanced Clarifye system.
And to simplify the process, they offer seamless billing for most major vision insurance providers.
On the downside, the busy nature of this retail hub can lead to longer wait times. This can turn a routine appointment into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal.
My experience was positive overall
My experience at LensCrafters was positive overall. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, and the eye exam process was quick and professional. I appreciated how clearly the optometrist explained my prescription and answered my questions. There was a good selection of frames to choose from, and the staff helped me find a pair that fit well and suited my style. Although the prices were a bit high, the convenience and service made the experience worthwhile.

Finding a straightforward, predictable pricing structure for your eyewear is such a relief, especially in an industry often rife with hidden fees.
This vibrant store in the lower level of the Cherry Creek Shopping Center makes things simple by blending a unique library-inspired atmosphere with a transparent $95 starting price for prescription glasses.
They’re well known for their lifetime adjustments and a friendly, hospitality-first approach that removes all the pressure you might find in other shops.
When I stopped by last month to adjust a loose hinge, the staff provided stellar service and helpful frame recommendations without utilizing any pushy sales tactics.
Much like finding a reliable Botox provider, securing a hassle-free styling consultation here makes upgrading your look remarkably easy.
However, this specific location currently lacks on-site medical exams, and their inventory is strictly limited to proprietary in-house designs rather than international luxury labels.
We have never seen a store more organized
We have never seen a store More organized. There were at least 9 clerks ready to help soon as we walked in the door. Loved how they offer up one pair after another that might be perfect to what you want.

5. Eye Vision Downtown Denver

Website: http://eyevisiondowntowndenver.com/
Address: 910 16th St, Suite 524
Contact: (303) 534-8811
Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Appointment Only)
Eye Vision Downtown Denver makes getting eye exams easy with their on-site lab that can deliver lightning-fast results. They can have single-vision prescriptions ready in 30 to 60 minutes!
Besides making custom lenses quickly, they also provide specialty care, such as medical evaluations for complex conditions and surgical consultations. This dual approach makes the office a perfect place for both fashion and serious medical needs.
The major limitation here is their limited schedule: they close promptly at 4 in the afternoon on weekdays and operate strictly by appointment on Saturdays, making casual browsing very difficult for traditional office workers.
However, if you can make the timing work, their efficiency and expertise are definitely worth it.
They are obviously very nice
Extra stars! I have very bad vision, and until I came to Eye Vision, my eyes were badly treated. Sam worked hard and made me the best glasses I have ever worn. I’m really really hard to make lenses for but I finally see with acuity. And they are obviously very nice.
