1. UCHealth Center for Midwifery – Lowry

Website: https://www.uchealth.org/locations/uchealth-center-for-midwifery-lowry/
Address: 8111 E. Lowry Boulevard
Contact: (720) 848-1700 | (720) 848-1844
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Many parents want a calm birth experience, but also need the safety of a hospital. UCHealth Center for Midwifery provides exactly that by offering water births alongside a Level III NICU for extra security.
They also offer nitrous oxide as a low-intervention way to handle pain during labor.
In addition to medical care, you can access therapies like acupuncture and chiropractic care right at the office.
One thing to consider is that they have strict rules regarding who is considered low risk. If your health condition changes, you might be moved to a different type of care.
Plus, their weekday-only schedule can be tricky for busy professionals to manage.
Still, this clinic is a fantastic option for low-risk patients who value both comfort and the latest medical support systems.

2. Colorado Birth and Wellness

Address: 8111 E Lowry Blvd Ste 230
Contact: (720) 464-7599 | [email protected]
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pregnancy really changes a family. Just as some couples use marriage counseling to strengthen their relationship, finding a supportive birth team can help build your confidence.
Colorado Birth and Wellness is an independent center owned by women and treats birth as a healthy part of life.
When we visited the Lowry office, we loved the calm suites with queen beds and big tubs. They also have doulas and breastfeeding experts to help you along the way.
However, because they’re a free-standing center, they only take low-risk patients.
Another thing to consider is the location. If you go to the Southwest Denver clinic, you will have to travel to Lowry for the actual birth.
Even so, the personal attention you receive here is wonderful. It makes the whole experience feel very safe and special for new parents.
Customer Reviews:
The midwives were wonderful
My experience at CB&W was exceptional. From the prenatal care to postpartum. All of the midwives were wonderful. I do want to give special recognition to Julia, Tiffany, and Amy as they were the ones that were present for my birth. I felt safe and encouraged throughout the delivery. Thank you for taking great care of my baby and I.

Wonderful and family-oriented
We were lucky to have all 3 of our children born at Colorado Birth and Wellness. It was initially an eye-opening experience that there are wonderful, family-oriented, safe, empowering, and smoother processes out there than the standard hospital birth. And that initial experience has bore out across 3 births at the CB&W birth center. If you have any inclination that there is a better and more personal way to give birth than in a hospital with anonymous providers, bright white lights, and providers urging unnecessary interventions, then I really suggest taking a look at CB&W

3. Stacey D. Brophy, CNM

Website: https://intermountainhealthcare.org/
Address: 1960 North Ogden Street, Suite 230
Contact: (303) 318-3540
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Having an experienced advocate by your side is very important during labor. Stacey D. Brophy brings over fourteen years of experience as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
She uses a model that supports women at every stage of life, from their teen years to menopause. Her practice is a not-for-profit mission that works closely with high-risk specialists to keep you safe if any problems arise.
Just as working with life coaches helps you reach a goal, partnering with her gives you expert guidance for your health.
However, you should know that she only offers appointments on weekdays. This means there is no flexibility for weekend care.
Also, she only speaks English, which might be hard for some families.
Even so, her warm bedside manner is great for calming your nerves. She is a wonderful partner for anyone looking for focused and compassionate care.
Customer Reviews:

Address: 499 E Hampden Ave # 190, Englewood
Contact: (303) 788-0808
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:15 AM – 2:00 PM
Cherry Hills Midwifery Obstetrics & Gynecology uses a team of doctors and midwives who work together. This means you get holistic care along with quick surgical help if you need a C-section.
A friend of mine loved having the choice between Swedish Medical Center and Littleton Adventist Hospital. They even offer special skin treatments like lasers at their office.
However, you might not like their strict digital system for changing appointments because you cannot do it over the phone. You will also see many different doctors, rather than just one familiar face, during your visits.
On the bright side, if you need more flexibility, they offer helpful telehealth services.
Overall, it’s a great choice for families who want many options and the safety of a hospital setting.
Customer Reviews:
Cherry Hills is wonderful
Cherry Hills is wonderful – they saw me through my pregnancy and delivery. From the nurses to the front office staff to the midwives and NPs, they are all such wonderful and kind providers. When I had complications, they were able to find same day appointments for me multiple times. I will be going to them for many years to come!

I cannot say enough good things
I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I was a late transfer at 35 weeks after moving from out of state and they took me in no problem. Every single midwife is an actual gem. They took their time with me at every appointment and listened to what I wanted for my birth. We move states pretty often and I am actually sad to think about ever having another baby and these midwives not be the one to deliver it.

5. Meadowsweet Midwifery

Website: http://www.meadowsweetmidwifery.com/
Address: 7675 W 14th Ave, Suite 104, Lakewood
Contact: (720) 606-9996 | (303) 324-8636 | [email protected]
Schedule: Available 24/7
Having a baby at home is a big decision that requires a very caring team. So we appreciate that Meadowsweet Midwifery brings a lot of warmth to the process.
For example, the midwife actually cooks a meal for your family right after the delivery. They also provide a free birth tub for a water birth.
On top of that, their care continues for the first six weeks of your baby’s life to make sure everything is going well.
You can even book a free one-hour meeting to see if their style fits your needs.
One thing to consider is that they only handle births outside hospitals. This means it is not the right choice if you want the safety of a medical ward.
Also, they only serve the Lakewood and Denver areas.
If you live nearby, though, their in-home check-ins after the birth are incredibly helpful and valuable.
Customer Reviews:
Amazing care during my pregnancy
Amazing care during my pregnancy and after and amazing care of my baby. Samantha and Melissa were amazing from day one. They listened to me and guided me through the whole process, taking my pregnancy plans and hopes into account with every appointment. They clearly explained their recommendations, any procedures or labs that were recommended and clarified all my questions. I loved working with them and would absolutely recommend them.
