The 5 Best Pediatric Clinics in Denver Trusted by Parents (and Loved by Kids!)

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Accessibility: I looked at how easy it is for parents to reach the clinic when something comes up quickly. Offices with after-hours guidance, same-day visits, or weekend support felt much more practical for real family life.

Environment: A pediatric office should lower stress, not add to it. I gave more weight to clinics with calm waiting areas, friendly staff, and a setup that feels easier on anxious kids.

Provider Qualifications: Parents need confidence that their child is in capable hands. I focused on clinics with experienced pediatric providers who take the time to answer questions clearly rather than rushing families through the visit.

Range of Services: Convenience matters when your schedule is already packed. I looked for clinics that can handle routine checkups, sick visits, and referrals or specialty access without making parents jump through extra hoops.

Trying to find the best pediatric clinic in Denver gets stressful fast when you’re balancing school schedules, sick visits, and the usual worries that come with raising kids.

So, when it was the time to bring my child to the pediatrician, I looked for clinics that feel reassuring in real life, not just polished on paper.

What mattered most to me was access, bedside manner, and whether parents can actually get help when a child wakes up sick.

In this guide, I pulled together local practices and hospital-based options that stood out for dependable care, practical service, and a few tradeoffs worth knowing before you book.

How much does a pediatric clinic visit cost in Denver?

A typical pediatric clinic visit in Denver costs about $100 to $250 without insurance, while insured families often just pay a standard copay.

Patient TypeEstimated Cost Per Visit
Uninsured$100 – $250
Insured (Copay)$15 – $50

1. Denver Health Pediatric Primary Care at Webb Center for Primary Care

Website: https://www.denverhealth.org/

Address: 301 W. 6th Ave.

Contact: 303-436-6000 | 303-436-4949

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

For busy parents, getting several parts of a visit handled in one place is hard to beat. So, I like that Denver Health keeps routine pediatric care, specialty support, on-site interpreters, and a first-floor pharmacy within the same system.

With this approach, you cut down the number of stops you have to make with a tired child in tow. The setup feels especially practical when a prescription needs to be filled right after the appointment.

On the downside, since this is a large public health center, long waits can happen once the day gets busy. I’ve also heard from families who build in extra time because appointments don’t always start right on schedule.

Still, the all-in-one convenience and 24/7 nurse line make it a dependable option for regular care.

Pros

  • Dental clinic in the same building
  • On-site interpreters available
  • 24/7 nurse line for triage support
  • Pharmacy located on the first floor

Cons

  • Frequent prolonged wait times
  • High patient volumes daily

Safe and welcome

Great care, I do not care what anyone else says. Rebecca Freeman NP and her colleagues in pediatrics are amazing, and the behavioral health team also made me feel safe and welcome. I have had both of my children here and have always felt well cared for across departments.

Incredibly responsive

We have been coming to Denver Health’s pediatric clinic in the Webb Building since our son was born. Dr. Flores has been incredibly responsive, gave us helpful guidance, and even shared sleep techniques that worked. Once we were established, getting the appointments we needed, including same-day visits for urgent issues, was not a problem.

2. Lowry Pediatrics

lowry-pediatrics

Website: https://www.lowrypediatrics.com/

Address: 8101 E. Lowry Blvd. #260

Contact: 720-859-8222

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – As Needed for Sick Visits

Lowry Pediatrics feels like the kind of neighborhood clinic many parents hope to find. The office leans into relationship-based care, and that shows in how families talk about feeling known rather than processed.

I also like the practical details here, such as child-friendly waiting areas, accessible parking, Saturday-morning sick visits, and a direct after-hours answering service.

Those small things can make a rough day go more smoothly when you’re bringing in a squirmy toddler.

It was just frustrating to see their daily lunch closure. The office and phones shut down for an hour every weekday, which can be inconvenient if you’re trying to squeeze in a quick call during your own break.

Even so, the warm atmosphere and personalized feel make this a reassuring pick for routine pediatric care. Some parents also look into a naturopath in Denver for alternative wellness support.

Pros

  • Saturday morning sick visits
  • Direct after-hours answering service
  • Warm and child-friendly waiting areas
  • Accessible parking right outside

Cons

  • Closed for an hour every weekday
  • No lunchtime appointment slots

Feel reassured

Dr. Scott is amazing. He always made me feel reassured as a new parent and took my concerns seriously. He listens, explains things in a simple but informative way, and is wonderful with pediatric patients. I recently moved out of state and still miss this office.

Easy to make appointments

One of the best pediatric offices in the Denver area. We never have to wait long after arrival, the staff and nurses are very friendly, and it is easy to make appointments. I have high expectations when it comes to my family’s care, and they consistently exceed them.

3. Children’s Medical Center

childrens-medical-center

Website: https://cmcpediatrics.com/

Address: 1818 N. Ogden Street, Suite 300

Contact: 303-830-7337

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

If seeing an actual board-certified pediatrician at every visit matters a lot to you, Children’s Medical Center stands out.

I think that physician-led model gives families extra peace of mind, especially when a child has an issue that feels more complicated than a basic sick visit.

It’s also notable that this clinic has been serving Denver families since 1996, so it has the kind of long local history that can build trust over time.

Another detail I appreciate is that the phone lines are answered by the clinic’s own nurses instead of an outside call center.

On the downside, Saturday hours are reserved for acute sick visits, so parents can’t use that window for regular physicals or routine follow-ups. If your child needs specialty foot or gait support, heading straight to trusted podiatrists in Denver can be useful.

Overall, though, the consistency in providers and strong communication make this an easy clinic to keep on your list.

Pros

  • Guaranteed visits with board-certified doctors
  • Phone lines answered by actual clinic nurses
  • Long-standing presence in the community
  • Weekend availability for sudden illnesses

Cons

  • No weekend routine checkups
  • Saturday slots limited to sick visits

Very clean and very professional

I absolutely love this pediatric practice. From day one with our newborn son, they have treated us like family. The office is always very clean and very professional, and we have been able to get same-day sick visits when needed. The triage nurses are responsive and helpful, and Dr. Sweeney is kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable.

4. Children’s Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora

Website: https://www.childrenscolorado.org/

Address: 13123 E. 16th Ave.

Contact: 720-777-1234

Hours: Available 24/7

When a child needs highly specialized care, Children’s Hospital Colorado is the kind of place many families want in their corner.

First of all, I like that it offers around-the-clock emergency access and brings together major pediatric subspecialties on one campus. This setup can make care transitions much smoother if testing, surgery, or follow-up treatment is involved.

The child-life amenities here also matter more than people sometimes expect. With this, playrooms and pet therapy can help ease some of the fear of a long hospital day.

The biggest drawback, however, is the facility’s massive size. Parking can take extra time, and walking through a large medical complex isn’t easy when you’re already stressed or carrying supplies for a long visit.

Still, for advanced or urgent pediatric care, this is one of the region’s most important resources.

Pros

  • 24/7 emergency and urgent care access
  • Major sub-specialties located on one campus
  • Child-life amenities to reduce anxiety
  • Advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities

Cons

  • Massive campus is hard to navigate
  • Parking takes a lot of extra time

Customer Reviews

Rooms are very clean

Great cystic fibrosis and pediatric pulmonology team. They make sure to address our concerns every visit, and they do a good job limiting contamination between patients, which matters a lot. The floor and rooms are very clean, and the waiting room is large and open.

Specialized pediatric care

Children’s at Anschutz is an amazing facility, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs basic to specialized pediatric care. Recently, my son was in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and on the medical floor for four days. The staff were competent, knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, and they treated us like part of the care team.

5. Partners in Pediatrics

partners-in-pediatrics

Website: https://partnersinpediatrics.com/

Address: 3801 E. Florida Ave., Suite 300

Contact: 303-388-4256

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Partners in Pediatrics works well for families who want a smaller, private-practice feel without giving up strong clinical support.

What stands out to me most is the bedside manner. Parents consistently describe the doctors as thorough, kind, and willing to listen without making the visit feel rushed.

The clinic also seems to run efficiently, which helps keep wait times down and makes appointments feel less chaotic.

There’s an after-hours paging system too. I appreciate the big difference this feature makes when something comes up after the office closes.

I’m just iffy about their hours. The practice keeps standard weekday hours and closes completely on weekends, so it isn’t ideal if your family wants broader appointment flexibility.

Nonetheless, the attentive care and central location make it a very solid everyday option.

Pros

  • Parking takes a lot of extra time
  • Doctors have excellent bedside manner
  • Efficient after-hours paging system
  • Centrally located in the city

Cons

  • Completely closed on weekends
  • Standard weekday hours only

Best possible pediatric care

We’ve been with Partners since my two children were born. The staff are professional, courteous, thorough, and kind, and there is plenty of parking. Everyone there makes us feel safe. My family gets the best possible pediatric care in Denver, and I have referred many other families to Partners over the years.
