The 5 Best Screen Printers in Denver for Custom Apparel

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Print Quality & Durability: I examined the sharpness and vibrancy of the final printed designs across different fabric types. A major focus was placed on how well the inks hold up after multiple wash cycles without cracking.

Service Range & Versatility: It was important to assess the variety of decoration methods offered, including traditional screens and digital options. Shops that provide design help and can handle smaller batches got extra attention.

Pricing & Transparency: I looked closely at per-piece pricing, setup costs, and any extra fees that could push the final bill higher. Clear quoting systems and honest communication about minimums mattered a lot here.

Reliability & Turnaround Times: Prompt delivery schedules matter when you are ordering for an event, staff launch, or merch drop. I paid attention to how clearly each shop communicates timelines and how dependable they seem once a job is in production.

Finding the best screen printer in Denver for your uniforms, merch, or staff apparel can take more trial and error than it should.

A sharp print on a comfortable shirt can make your brand look polished right away. On the other hand, misprints, weak ink coverage, and late pickups can turn a simple order into a headache.

I know how frustrating it is to compare shops that all promise quality but handle small runs, color matching, and turnaround very differently.

To make the process easier, I focused on local print shops that stand out for print quality, flexibility, pricing clarity, and reliability. Here are the ones that stood out the most!

How much does screen printing cost in Denver?

Screen printing in Denver usually costs about $5 to $20+ per garment, depending on order size, garment type, and design complexity.

Address: 4400 Garfield St

Contact: (303) 433-0001 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

With over four decades of history in the Rocky Mountain area, Denver Screen Print and Embroidery handles detailed designs with advanced Direct to Garment (DTG) and Direct to Film (DTF) printing.

They also give you the option to order wholesale through their catalog or bring in your own blank apparel.

When I visited their production floor for a small batch of band shirts, the staff helped dial in the exact ink colors before the full run started.

That in-person press check made the proofing process feel collaborative instead of rushed, which gave me a lot more confidence in the final order.

The main catch is what happens after pickup. You need to inspect everything quickly because the return window for defects is only two weeks, and production errors are handled with store credit instead of a refund.

Pros

  • Comprehensive visual mock-ups provided
  • In-person press checks available locally
  • Cost-effective small runs for complex designs
  • Robust sourcing network for specific garments

Cons

  • Strict two-week return claim window
  • Issues store credit instead of refunds

Only company to work with me at the small scale I needed

After calling/emailing over 8 local print shops, Denver Screen Print and Embroidery was the only company to work with me at the small scale I needed. Not only did they meet me where I was at with my request, but their pricing was amazing and 5x faster return times than any of the other shops. The quality was not affected and I could not be happier for our custom shirts for my very small studio business. I hope people order more shirts from us just so I can work with DSPE again!

They are now my go-to for all of my printing and embroidery

These guys were amazing to work with. They were patient and more the willing to share their knowledge while perfecting the design. Great prices and fast turnaround. I have used online t shirt printing services in the past, but none have come close to Denver Screen Print. They are now my go-to for all of my printing and embroidery.

2. Superior Ink Printing

Superior Ink Printing stands out if you care about eco-conscious production but still want bright, durable custom apparel.

The shop was the first certified green facility in Denver. It pairs traditional water-based printing with high-end heat transfers for jobs that need more design flexibility.

I also like that they have a showroom where you can try on garments before placing an order. That small step can save a lot of guesswork when fabric choice matters, especially for staff shirts or merch that needs to feel good as well as look sharp.

The approval process seems thorough, which helps avoid misprints.

However, their payment terms are much less forgiving. A bounced physical check comes with steep penalties, and net-term accounts can rack up finance charges quickly if invoices are paid late.

Pros

  • Rigorous pre-production approval sequence
  • Physical showroom available for garment sampling
  • Physical showroom available for garment sampling
  • Exceptionally bright DTF graphics

Cons

  • Severe financial penalties for bounced checks
  • Steep compounding fees for late invoice payments

3. Indyink Screenprinting

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Indyink Screenprinting brings a more retail-driven feel to custom apparel.

Since 2002, it has grown into a multi-store operation across the metro area. That shows in the way the team handles premium garments, polished mockups, and repeat orders that need to stay consistent from one run to the next.

A local event organizer told me one of the biggest advantages was being able to mix shirt sizes and colors in the same order while still working toward a better bulk rate.

That flexibility makes a real difference when you are ordering for a staff, a class, or an event with a varied crowd.

The downside is that pricing gets less transparent on very large runs. Orders above 300 pieces need a custom quote, and smaller jobs can incur extra charges each time you change an ink color on the press.

Pros

  • Flexible garment mixing for quantity breaks
  • Shared print grouping for better pricing
  • Streamlined repeat ordering system
  • Waived screen cleaning fees for major bulk runs

Cons

  • Custom quoting required for large volume orders
  • Strict ink color change fees on small batches

Customer Reviews

IndyInk was my go-to for all things screen print!

When I lived in Colorado, IndyInk was my go-to for all things screen print! They never disappointed and their customer service was fantastic. Dave was always so kind and willing to help out with any questions or concerns. Love this place and their boutique / art gallery, Abstract. Quality goods and quality people here.

Always reliable, affordable and high-quality services

Indy Ink has been our go-to screen printer for special event and uniform t-shirts for our Capoeira academy for 18 years and counting – from when it was a smallish operation on Broadway and Bayaud, to the big screen printing operation off Santa Fe, and now at their really huge and state of the art production facility on South Broadway. Dave’s been a solid fixture on the scene in Denver since back when Denver was still Denver – Indy Ink is authentic Denver, always supporting local arts and local artists, always reliable, affordable and high-quality services.

4. Rocky Mountain Apparel

Address: 5260 Lincoln St

Contact: (303) 292-3331 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rocky Mountain Apparel is the kind of shop that works well when your project could turn into more than just printed T-shirts.

They can handle single items or large commercial runs. Their decoration range makes it easier to combine screen printing, embroidery, and other branded pieces through one vendor.

I was also impressed by how much emphasis they put on sourcing.

Whether you need a promotional item or a reliable printing service for your corporate uniforms, their team seems ready to track down cost-conscious options instead of pushing you toward whatever is easiest for them to stock.

The tradeoff is speed at the quoting stage. Basic inquiries can take several days to reach the right specialist. More complex jobs with mixed decoration methods can take even longer before a preliminary price quote comes through.

Pros

  • Diverse specialized ink types and textures
  • Highly knowledgeable collective staff
  • Continuous adoption of new printing methods
  • Proactive and cost-conscious product sourcing

Cons

  • Multi-day waiting period for initial inquiries
  • Extended administrative delays for complex quotes

Printed masks, bandanas, and T-shirts for us on time

I cannot say enough good things about these folks. They printed masks, bandanas, and T-shirts for us on time, professionally, and helped tremendously with the artwork. They are easy to work with and reasonably priced. We will definitely use them again.

5. Lab Seven Screen Printing Co.

lab-seven-screen-printing-co

Website: https://labseven.co

Address: 3244 S Platte River Dr, Englewood

Contact: (303) 814-3389 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Lab Seven Screen Printing Co. feels especially approachable for startups, smaller brands, and anyone who wants a quote without a lot of back-and-forth first.

The shop offers upfront pricing and free digital mockups. This makes early planning a lot easier when you are still sorting out quantities, garment choices, and artwork.

They also use digital heat transfers for full-color designs that can be harder to pull off with standard methods.

On top of that, they source premium apparel from strong blank brands and can help with signage and vinyl decal orders. The service range definitely goes beyond basic shirt printing and can still fit a high-end boutique look.

The drawback is the schedule. They are closed on weekends, which can be inconvenient for event-heavy clients. After-hours pickup also usually needs to be arranged ahead of time instead of happening automatically.

Pros

  • Top-tier blank apparel sourcing
  • Diverse vinyl decal and signage options
  • Highly accessible staff consultations
  • Efficient and affordable bulk order production

Cons

  • Entirely closed on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Special arrangements required for after-hours pickup

I think I’ve found my new screen printer

I think I’ve found my new screen printer. All my interactions were smooth and very easy. Excellent customer service, I feel as though any/all questions I had all got answered. Printing quality is so nice and I love the fact that they have so many different brands to print on. Will definitely be placing another order soon!

This is the only place we order our merch from

By far the beat screen printing place in the area. Prices were actually BETTER than vista print, and their service was impeccable.  I don’t have enough time to say enough nice things about them, but this is the only place we order our merch from. #SupportLocal
